The staff was amazing, with excellent communication at the reception and always ready to help with anything. The cleanliness was also 10/10, not only in the rooms but throughout the entire resort, which felt luxurious in every way. Breakfast was well-balanced, offering cooked meals, deli meats and cheeses, desserts, and fresh fruit. The walk to Bol town takes about 20 minutes, but it feels more like 5, thanks to the stunning views of the turquoise waters along the way. The path is well-lit and very safe at night. A big plus: the parking is right inside the resort, allowing us to quickly unpack and head to the beach. The helpful staff assisted us with our luggage and made sure everything was in order for our stay. I highly recommend this resort to everyone. Situated on a coast, next to a quiet beautiful bay, in the middle of forest. Small cottages/houses, lot of green, not overcrowded. 3 outdoor pools (1 for toddlers) with plenty of sunbeds (which is often an issue in hotels). There was a bit less variety of food to choose from during meals, but everything was very tasty (which does not always happen) and pretty varied day to day. There were plenty additional amenities free of charge - mini golf, kayaks, sups, inflatable playground in the sea. The first night I was staying in a seaside room but I couldn't see the sea so when I asked to be switched, the gal at front desk wouldn't believe me and kept insisting that I was in seaside room. Finally, she agreed to switch me to a tiny, tiny room but the VIEW WAS INCREDIBLE so even though the room was much smaller, I didn't care because the view was worth it! We chose a hotel close to the old city that also had a pool and sunbeds - so a mix of city and sun holiday. We walked a lot - about 10 km every day, spent afternoons by the pool, and then evenings in some great restaurants in the place area. Trogir was a great base for us.
Trogir was a great base for us. We loved the old town and there are many excellent beaches on Ciovo. We could access Spilt very easily by boat and bus. Restaurants were excellent but quite expensive. For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia.
For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia. It's smaller than, for example, Makarska, and lacks noisy clubs and loud nightlife, which I consider strong advantages. You can find everything you need: beautiful beaches, bars, snack stands, and upscale restaurants. We went to the beach in Omiš, which is a very beautiful place and just a 6 km drive away. Excellent food and friendly people. We loved the town of Podstrana, the beach areas were easy to access, there were sun loungers and umbrellas for hire if the pebble beach was too much! It was quiet season during our stay and we negotiated a discount on our sunbeds.... The bars were also quiet and some restaurants had closed. We really liked the peace and quiet and were never short of some where to eat or have drinks. The choice of watersports and boat trips was reduced due to end of season but still available on request. We were only there for 6 hours and it felt too long. I booked it to be close to the airport. Maybe if we'd checked in earlier it would have felt less creepy, but our room's lighting was awful and it was dark and empty. Crystal clear water and you can see straight to the bottom even when it’s deep. The water is so clean it’s almost unreal, like swimming in a giant natural pool. If you love pristine beaches and amazing water quality, this place is absolutely worth it. The only downsides are that getting into the water can be a bit tricky since it’s rocky rather than sandy beaches.
