The vibe of the place, the staff which was super friendly and made us feel welcome, the food. We stayed in room 5 and we had a garden view, really liked the cottage. Even the room was small, we managed to store our luggage in a corner. I would suggest at least a stander to put some clothes. With Grab you can reach the center in a couple of mins.

This palce is wonderful, ths staff are so nice, specially HAMDI, who made sure every detail of our stay was perfect. Location is a bit isolated, but it's great for relaxing. Room and pool were amazing. We loved the food and the restaurant. We rented a scooter to move around the island and had an amazing time.

The friendliness, kindness and helpfulness of the staff exceeded our expectations. We felt so at home and so welcome, that saying goodbye at the end of our stay was truly bittersweet. The staff (Chacha, Yuni, Jeff, Fina, and everyone else!) completely made this experience for us — and the atmosphere in the hotel was so fantastic because of this fantastic staff, they were beyond lovely, even by Balinese standards! The room was amazing, spacious and very clean, the view was absolutely stunning. Pool incredible, food was also great. We loved the pool service. Amazing and healthy breakfast, with lots of choices. (Gluten free & vegetarian choices as well) We recommend to take the rice fields walk in the morning, provided for free for the guests. Don’t miss the sunrise here!! It’s a must do! Also free floating breakfast for the guests.

The pictures really didn't lie. This is a beautiful spot and a dream to wake up to and be in a spot you'll probably not often have a chance. Lovely place, just above the rocks I stayed in a shared room with a bathroom, but one night i was alone and was able to wake up to the first light. Sunrise is not visible from here, but the colours were mesmerising. The food the staff serves all day is 10 out of 10, i qlmost didn't want to get iut of here. Some reviews mentioned the monkeys. I had no issues with them,seen them from far at the entrance.

Absolutely loved it, I felt like a queen. They remember your name, what you like and don't like. The breakfast is very good, lots off choices, nice coffee, fruit, cereals and bread. Welcoming drink and massage, great swimming pools, bars and restaurants. The staff really made our stay unforgettable. Loved the view from the balcony of our apartment, the bathroom is nice, fresh towels and water twice a day.

Ubud is a magical place, and I'm glad I spent most of my time in Indonesia there. A vast, peaceful culture of well-being and tranquillity. Kind people, wherever I went. Kuta is very busy, traffic is hectic, but there is plenty to see and do. Shopping is good, with plenty of bargains and hotels are very good. It was easy to get a taxi to travel around and we found the best driver, BAGUS, who took us on a 12 hour day tour of middle Bali (Ubud and surrounds) for only $50 AUD.

I'm not a shopper, as I had been travelling in northern Bali I wanted a few days chillin, lovely clean beach, very very busy at sunset, which were beautiful. I didn't find much else other than the usual, shops with anything and everything fake you could want, tattoo shops, massage shops, lots of different types of food, great coffee shops. I was happy to wander, have a daily walk to the beach, relax around the pool, often I was the only person there.

this is an up and coming area in Bali. it looks like it will be upmarket from the shops, bars and restaurants that are already there. Its very busy and the traffic is hectic ( as is everywhere in Bali). Its a younger persons place as plenty of parties and activities. Would recommend to anyone under 40 that wants a hip vibe and action. if your older stick to Sanur

Great place.

Great place. Lots of excellent restaurants and beautiful beaches nearby. My favourite was Nyang Nyang Beach which is easy to reach. It's a sandy beach with great waves for surfing. Swimming is a bit more tricky as the bottom is rocky and the currents can be a bit challenging. There is a bar for refreshment and the beach is spacious and doesn't feel crowded. Uluwatu attracts lots of surfers and that's a bit the vibe that you get here.

Liked · We stayed at Sumitra Villas for a week to acclimatise ourselves for a longer stay in Raja Ampat. We loved our stay at this hotel so much we decided to return after Raja Ampat to wind down. Our accommodation was spacious, comfortable and well serviced. The bed decoration for my wife's birthday was a nice surprise. The food in the hotel restaurant was excellent. The grounds of the hotel are well kept and have a truly tropical feel with a lovely pool and sun beds. However the best part to the hotel is the service provided by all the staff, from the reception staff; Vena and her colleagues in the restaurant to the room keeping and the hotel transport; Sri the manager and her team. All the staff are so friendly and attentive and went out of their way to make our stay very special. We really enjoyed the entertainment provided by the hotel and were lucky to be there when the hotel hosted a local traditional dance group. We were also lucky to be invited by the hotel to visit a local priests home to see a side of traditional Bali culture which we otherwise would not have seen. It is very rarely that we have been made to feel so cared for in a hotel stay and are very grateful to Sri and all her staff for all their efforts. Disliked · We cannot fault this hotel.

I liked the location as everything was at our doorstep, but...

I liked the location as everything was at our doorstep, but if you want beach and night clubs then Legian is too quiet for you. You have easy access to the beach, great place to watch the sunset with all the pop-up bars with bean bag chairs set up for the occasion. If you want to add dinner and some great live music then head up a bid to double 6 beach and their our outstanding pop up restaurants with bean bag chairs and tables and lots of entertainment. The shopping has a lot of variety with markets etc., no department stores or larger supermarkets though. Find a Coffee Barbers, lots around, great coffee!! We were only there for 4 days, had a massage each day and they were all good from different places, but our favorite was from Eden. If you want to just chill out, relax, don't worry about what you are spending (as it won't be a lot) then give Legian a go.

this was my first trip to Bali, and it is not really my sort of holiday - I prefer to move around more rather than stay in the one place. If a 'fly and flop' holiday is your thing - this is a good place to do it

Nusa Penida is a wild island, there are stunning views and beaches. It is not easy to wonder around. Roads are bad and it is not the best if you are not an expert with the scouter, in that case you will need to use the local drivers. I suggest Crystal Bay, and Klingking Beach (for sure). If you got to do the snorkeling with the Manta Rays go early, later it is really crowded. Consider that it takes long time to go in the main point of interests.

Jungutbatu is not like the rest of the island which is quite traditional which we like. Jungutbatu has many international restaurants and upmarket boutique type shops. There are few places where you can get the opportunity to swim with manta rays. Everything costs little more than in Bali as everything has to be brought in from Bali, but still good value for money. D'Stars ferry was excellent.
