A secluded paradise in the midst of the ricefields with a splendid view to the valley below. The rooms were roomy and the outdoor terasse was nice. The staff was so friendly, smiling and helpful, you truly feel welcome amongst the Lesong family. I would definately recommend this to anyone who is visiting this area.

We stayed in a villa called Yudhistira (closest to the pool). From the first time we entered the property to checkout 4 days later we were welcomed and experienced high level og service. We went to two trips from here arranged by the hotel, which we can recommend others. The first was trekking locally in the area to see waterfalls, plantations, villages and rice terasses - our guide Kadek was really great with a lot of knowledge about the plantations, culture in Bali and Hindu religion, we learned so much during the trekking. The second trip was to Aling-aling waterfalls, Lovina beach and to hot springs, we got a really nice driver in a great new car. The rooms and place has everything needed, comfortable bed, infinity pool, good restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner, awesome view from balkony over rice terasses and living room with kitchen if needed, shower was nice and clean toilet. We would highly recommend anyone else staying here if need to get a bit out of the traffic in Ubud and Denpasar.

You can rent a scooter at the property which is very needed since the location is not that easy to get. Free hot and cold water. Quiet location not too far from some restaurants.

The hotel was AMAZING!!! We had a room with a balcony overlooking the jungle and the way the rooms are positioned you feel like you are the only person there. Our stay here has been absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere in the middle of the national park is truly special – so peaceful and quiet, with deer grazing right outside our villa and monkeys providing exciting moments, especially for our daughter. The staff have been incredibly warm and welcoming, especially towards our child. There were lovely activities for her and a beautifully natural playground she absolutely loved. The pool is simply spectacular – the largest we’ve ever seen, with stunning views of the sea. The food has been excellent, and the villa itself is luxurious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed – we especially loved the semi-outdoor bathroom, which added a touch of nature to the experience. The snorkeling trip organized from here was another highlight – perfectly arranged, with fantastic reefs around Menjangan Island and so many colorful fish to see. All in all, a magical stay. We’d absolutely love to come back!

Munduk Moding Plantation is an absolute gem. The views from both pools and the terrace are breathtaking, overlooking the jungle, the distant sea, and the resort’s coffee plantation. The serene, remote setting makes it a perfect escape into nature. However, what truly made my stay unforgettable was the staff. They were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and sincere in making me feel special. What amazed me the most was that, after five years, they still remembered me and recognized my face—something I’ve never experienced before. The level of hospitality here is beyond exceptional.

The rooms are very private, you feel like you are in your own little oasis. Food is incredible at the restaurant. The staff are extremely welcoming and very glad to assist with any requests we had booking excursions. Highly recommend the Menjangan Island snorkeling and sunrise hike. This is our 2nd time here and will definitely be visiting again. A very special place on the island.

We always come back with a lot of pleasure to Lovina Beach Hotel. The place is amazing with great location in Lovina, superb view on the sea and beautiful garden. The staff is very friendly. Bungalows are comfortable and food is great. Nice swimming-pool. That was the fourth time we stayed there and we were not disappointed at all! We can't wait to go back.

What can I say? This place is perfectly hidden away in a beautiful location right beside the beach, amongst beautiful gardens. The staff are amazing and make you feel at home. Always a friendly smile, and they will go out of their way to make sure you have the best stay here. The food is excellent too. My second time there, and definitely not my last.

I first visited Lovina in 1979.

I first visited Lovina in 1979. Since then I have been back 4 or 5 times. Lovina still retains a lot of the old Bali. If you are looking for a quite peaceful town with great people this is it. I always enjoy the serenity of Lovina and the closeness of nature. Well worth a visit.

Our stay at Manduk modern plantation was amazing. The most welcoming and friendliest staff I’ve ever had. Making you feel right at home! The property is so beautiful and the views from the restaurants and the room was incredible :) Great sized rooms and very private. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a break from the coast :)

The area he’s like Bali 40 years ago. You are better off staying at a resort on the northern end of the beach, they are beautiful clean and with excellent food and staff, and away from the mosque. Eco Taste, Dimpil Beach Bar, Wrung Rama, The Sage excellent places to eat with cheap healthy fresh food. The Taman, Sari resort & Amertha Resort also have excellent food but more expensive.

Located outside of Singaraja by about 10kms is "OMunity Bali...

Located outside of Singaraja by about 10kms is "OMunity Bali". It is situated in the traditional highland village of Sudaji.. To get to this location you need to make your own transport arrangements to go there and especially leaving is harder as the local Grab App doesn't seem to reach to here. OMunity prepared food is delicious and creative but eating out elsewhere didn't have much choice esp if vegetarian. The ambience is relaxing, friendly and uncrowded. Walking around the neighborhood is pleasant, and there are short road trips with walks or treks to some of the most stunning scenic places in Bali.

Snorkeling, temple tours both great, hot springs are truely hot and well worth the visit (anytime of day or night), but I’ll mostly remember the friendly approachable people in the neighbourhood. Lovely people (great food)

Tejakula is a great place away from the busy tourist areas...

Tejakula is a great place away from the busy tourist areas of the south beaches. There are great Warungs, bars and markets for shopping. We saw waterfalls, temples, hot springs and a family run salt farm. Quiet walks along the black sand beach and making friends with the locals are some of the reasons why we will come back to Tejakula.

It is great to stay in the north of Bali!

It is great to stay in the north of Bali! Getting around takes time and requires a private driver. Management & Staff was just Wonderful and made all our wishes come true. Very responsive via What's app - all day long. Great location on the mountain, fantastic view. Private infinity pool! The place to feel into the magic of Bali!

We stayed near Agung beach to far away from Lovina beach...

We stayed near Agung beach to far away from Lovina beach where there are more options for dining and entertainment. The highlight of our Lovina stay was our trip to Menjangan Island, however it was an hour and a half drive from Lovina. Menjangan is mentioned in all the tour options as a 20 minute boat ride, it is, but only after the long drive.

Temperature (around 18-19 degrees celcius in the evening) and beautiful countryside and vegetation - many waterfall walks available (although quite tourist heavy). Beautiful area and totally different to the various beach spots of Bali.

It was quiet and peaceful, away from the busy southern parts...

It was quiet and peaceful, away from the busy southern parts of Bali. The downside is it takes 4 hours due to traffic leaving the south and slow moving traffic heading up into the mountains due to winding, narrow roads.
