We stayed here for St Paddy's Weekend. It was easy and accessible to get to the city from Blackrock via train. The host was kind enough to accommodate early check in for us! The room was very clean and modern. We especially liked the gesture of free coffee from the café across the road and the hospitality of the Pub next door!

Dun Laoghaire is a hip spot away from the huddle of the city Center. Great walking on the pier, waterfront and through the village. Some lovely restaurants and coffee shops . Breakfast at the Vanilla bean was lovely. The famous Forty Ft swimming spot is a short walk. Lots of quaint shops and vintage secondhand stores scattered along the Main Street . Good public transport on busses , trains and taxis . Aircoach to Dublin Airport from Marine rd opp City Hall. Market in the Peoples park is well worth a visit if you’re there over the weekend. Childrens fun fair on the waterfront runs daily from 12 noon till 7 pm . €3/ ride.

Booking dinner the restaurant to find I was second to a wedding party. Shouldn't I have been informed of this at check-in? Another quibble ... I stayed in the Clayton Liffey and left a bag of books in reception. I called in the hotel 10 days. I was informed at reception that I'd be texted/messaged the next with the status of my loss. I still haven't been informed. Subsequently I mentioned this to reception at Clayton Leopardstown giving relevant details. Reception said they would contact me. They didn't.

The room facilities was clean and bed was comfortable. Had an a small issue with the coffee machine but was sorted by the staff the same morning. Public transport in both directions is only a few steps away. From here you can access the city centre and the surrounding areas.

The best small town with friendly people.

The best small town with friendly people. Everything is a 5 minute walk, steps from each other in distance. It's just a cute town. Convenient to DART so if we wanted to go anywhere it was super easy. Went to Blackrock, Sandycove and Dun Laoghaire. From Dublin airport by bus and the on DART super easy and that was after being awake for 44 hours trying to get from Canada with our plane delays. Already planning a return trip. Lots of restaurants to chose from in Dalkey. Ate at DeVilles (you need reservations or run the chance of not dining that day) and the Coliemore pub. Our favourites!!

All Professional residence surroundings. Microsoft , Vodafone , Facebook , Twitter, Master and visa card, Chees Bank, AIB Bank. Hiking one of the best Activities we have experienced.

We were staying there mainly to visit family in Blackrock, so that’s not hugely applicable question. But Kay’s kitchen in the Frescati centre was a casual but very friendly cafe. Unlike Brambles in the Stillorgan shopping centre which was a disaster, to be honest. But our stay at the Radisson hotel was a hit! We’ll be back there.

Excellent day. €35 for entrance became €20 with my Seniors card. Thanks to the racecourse for this. Drink & food not exorbitant which I was half expecting so I was pleasantly surprised. We loved the seating to watch the racing where we did not have to pay any extra. A great day overall. I wish I could say the same for the nearby Clayton hotel where we were fleeced & got very poor quality. This will be an important factor if I decide to go again ( This was my first trip to Leopardstown races in over 40 years ). I generally go racing in the south of the country. Will see.

I was there for a meeting and when meeting was I left immediatly to travel back to N. Ireland.I ate out at a Italian Restaurant in Rathgar and did not avail of any other facilities or attractions in Rathgar. To summarise the only reason I stayed in Rathgar was because that was where my meeting was being held.
