Everything! And everyone! Exceptional hotel in a stunning location, with lovely facilities. The morning bird-watching walk with Ganesh was a highlight. Really exceptional staff, all of whom were genuine, friendly and went out of their way to be very welcoming and helpful.

I have had the pleasure to stay in this facility for 3 days. I booked it because it was close to my place of interest, because it had good reviews and because the pictures looked pretty. Little did I know how much I underestimated this resort! The combination of tranquility, breathtaking views from your "room", the omnipresent luxury, selection of superb activities, the cuisine, the actual living forest all around you and overall hospitality and service simply cannot be described by words. One must experience it first-hand to fully appreciate this gem of a property. This property is situated literally inside a functioning coffee plantation, where you can explore the coffee making process from blossom to brewing (and roast / grind coffee beans yourself!). That is only one of the few exceptional activities offered, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The plantation is huge, and so is the resort itself. So of course they drive you with a buggy, whenever you are not in a mood for a little walk. Your "room" is actually a cottage, suspended above tree foliage, with a sense of complete privacy, even though a next cottage is nearby. The view has depth which can only be experienced by the seashore, or at high altitude. The connection to nature is taken very seriously here, and can also be felt intensely everywhere - whether you are relaxing on the terrace of your cottage, or walking to the pool and spa, or just having dinner. Talking about dining. The selection and variety of meals is astonishing, and so is the flavor. The whole dining experience is wonderful - the taste, the drinks & cocktails, the fact that you are actually dining above the waterfall, prompt and kind service offered by every staff member (waiters and managers alike). I would especially like to spotlight Mr.Bishu, who was serving us for the duration of our stay. He was always professional, very kind, attentive to all our needs, and so polite. Dear fellow traveler, With the utmost sincerity I urge you to visit the Coorg Wilderness Resort and Spa because it is simply amazing, down to the smallest details. We arrived after dark and out of the jungle rose massive iron gates with side lights, and we were inspected by security - this felt very Crazy Rich Asians. We were met at the roundabout by Aswathi who facilitated the rest of our checkin. We received a blessing, were led to a couch, and received a cup of ginger tea before she went over the stay and amenities with us. We were shown to our suite, which was beautifully appointed in every way. Simply luxurious. You will not want for anything, there is something to occupy every visitor, even the pickiest among you - even our 15 year old daughter. The food in the restaurant is outstanding, a feast for the eyes and the palette. Daily there are many activities offered. Our favorites were morning bird watching, rooftop yoga, and a wilderness walk. The latter was led by Jagath who knows much about the local flora and fauna, and was infinitely patient with our many questions. We met other of Jagath”s colleagues, Harish, and jithesh, who operate the sustainable farm. We were offered the opportunity to select our own poultry for dinner…a rare option in our experience. The farm provides produce and meat to the kitchen and the results are unbeatable. So fellow traveler, this resort is most certainly worth your time for a visit.

Property is very unique and aesthetically maintained. One can see the interest in up keep of the place. Staff are very nice, We have known Krishnan from previous resort, he is very knowledgeable and guest focused. Right in the midst of greenery, beautiful birds and sound of flowing river - couldn't have asked for better way to unwind ! The movie time in the evening were good ! Good amount of indoor games, big enough swimming pool (with separate kids pool). Bird watching in morning was a great addition, very knowledgeable person too they have! Too bad the river was flowing strong and the trek was not allowed, we will definitely visit again next time ! Food is tasty.

It was surrounded by nature and was a very relaxing location. Coffee plantations and bird watching was the highlight for us. Rooms were spacious and clean. Balcony gave us a chancento enjoy mornings and evening nature and bird calls. Poolside snackbar was amazing. Lot if activities were available which we could not participate dur to time constraints.I got sick and there was a nurse to help with that. Food available for breakfast is amazing selection appealing to all. I eapecially enjoyed filter coffee. I am missing it. Once we went there we cancelled our sightseeing and stayed at the resort. A great decision.

Please don't expect much like Ooty or Kodaikanal. Coorg or Madikeri is a very small place with an average climate. Not much to see when compared to Kodaikanal or Ooty. It didn't meet my expectations.

Kushalnagar is a spot I came to stay to soak up the vibe of a very authentic Indian Town frim.which I could visit Sera & Coorg. Was delightful to see South India and so much untouched forest and pristine land. Monasteries, Elephants, Waterways, staying in Kushalnagar was great for shopping, food, the fun of it, and proximity to all this without needing an expensive resort away from the vibe I wanted to be in. Loved it - what a great time. Easy to get around, lots of things to enjoy & super friendly place.

The staff at Siddapur is their asset. Starting from Neetu Mahajan, Murthy, Jackson, Anthony, Sudhanshu Sekhariena just to name a few, each and everyone is committed to provide excellent service and make your stay a memorable one. Not to mention about the smallest details that are being taken care of in appointment of rooms, food, entertainment, etc. All in all a truly memorable experience.

It's a cute little hilltop town. Kept very clean by the hardworking sanitary staff of the town administration and because of the civic sense of the people. A very good option to stay here rather than Madikeri as the latter ten to get crowded.

If you want a holiday in the country side with no urban distractions this is an ideal place for a quiet holiday in the midst of nature. Yet you are not far from the conveniences of urban life. Gonikoppa has all the conveniences of a large city while still being a small town/ rural area.

Wonderful place, but the weather was not as we expected.

Wonderful place, but the weather was not as we expected. It was too hot and humid instead of typical Coorg weather. However, the town had a lot of spices and home made products for us to shop and take back home. The place was pleasant with nature, birds, and other stuff.

In Madikeri, most of the attractions are close to each other...

In Madikeri, most of the attractions are close to each other and it is easy to go around if you hire a rick, car or even a two wheeler; one can visit Abbey Falls, Madikeri Fort, Museum, Raja's tomb, Sunnyside Museum and Raja's Seat in a day itself and Mandalpatti Trek only by jeep but early morning by 5am. You can eat at Coorg cuisine, a good place specially for non-vegetarian food. In coorg, there is also Zipline, check prior visiting one at Abbey Falls & other at Raja's Seat. We also got a chance to experience fire-flies before leaving Coorg near our bus stop of Sea-bird travellers.
