Great location, close to the Main Street and a very short walk to the beach. From the moment I booked the owner was very helpful and just really friendly, she even did my washing for me on arrival which was a lifesaver. My room always got fresh water and cleaned when asked. By no mean is this luxury accomodation but it is great value for such a good spot, basic amenities but very clean and lots of room, I even had a balcony overlooking the garden which was quite peaceful. Highly recommend!

Loved the whole experience during our stay at JW Marriott. From the moment we arrived, the welcome from the wonderful hotel staff, our room was made up for early check in, beautifully presented knowing it was our honeymoon with some delicious sweet treats on arrival to welcome us, everything was faultless! The hotel room, facilities, infinity pool, spa, food and drinks offering are all 10/10. Breakfast spread was unreal and the level of service was like nothing we have ever experienced before.

A special mention must go to Sukhdev, the Food and Beverage Manager, whose attentiveness and dedication to ensuring our dining experiences were flawless truly elevated our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for him or indeed any of the staff; their polite and helpful demeanor was consistent throughout our visit. Our room was a haven of comfort and tranquility. Spotlessly clean, spacious, and beautifully appointed, it provided the perfect retreat after days spent exploring or relaxing by the pool. Speaking of which, the hotel's location is idyllic. Situated directly on the beach, with the soothing sounds of the waves just steps away, it offered a sense of serenity while still being conveniently close to local amenities. The culinary offerings at the Calungate Park Hotel were simply outstanding. The Christmas Day brunch was a magnificent feast, a true celebration of flavors and festive cheer. But honestly, every meal was a delight, from the beautifully presented breakfasts to the delicious à la carte options. The quality and freshness of the food were evident in every bite. The Park Hotel provided us with an unforgettable experience. It was the perfect blend of luxurious comfort, exceptional service, and a stunning location. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return for another wonderful stay.

We liked everything about our stay, the hospitality, the care and the professionalism of the staffs are top notch. We went there for our babymoon and they took care of every little thing starting from easy accessibility to the room, the food and they also gave a maternity pillow. They also decorated my room, gifted me bouquet and had a personal musician to sing for me. Special mention to Priya who kept checking if I need anything and also on my wellbeing. Overall, it was the best babymoon.

The room's comfort was up to par. I found the bed and view very comfortable and pleasing, and with a strong Wi-Fi in the room, my stay went without any hiccups. I would also say that the facilities, like the restaurant, fitness centre, and room service, were great, with great assistance from the staff. Since the nice breakfast was included in the price we paid, we all found this stay to be the best value. As the Sinquerium Beach was close by, we had a lot of fun.

Not just calangute...entire north goa is a hype in the...

Not just calangute...entire north goa is a hype in the social media. Terrible traffic and congested roads...you will waste most of your time travelling. Even 2km distance takes 30 o 40 mins . Very noisy beaches with filthy food and drinks overcharged and simply looting the tourists. Always check the price of the food and drinks in case you decide to eat something from the beach restaurants. Conclusion - south goa is the best and agoda fort/beach truly picturesque. Stay in south and just visit 1 or 2 beaches in the north preferably in the early hours (6 to 7am) and come back.

Traffic is a nightmare. Trying to cross the Main Road pretty much anytime of the day is an experience. First i've visited in many years but never remembered it being that bad. Good food everywhere though

There is nothing that i did not like, infact I was very impressed with the way Rakesh took care of me specially since I fell sick and was down with Fever and cough he went out of his way and got medicine for me and helped me with the hot water facilities and made sure that i was feeling better the only regret is that if the check-in time can be preponed to 9.30am it could have been much better since had to wait on the first day till 11.30am from 6,00am, but that also Rakesh made sure to giv us the room ASAP Regards Suganthi

We had a lovely time in Palolem.

We had a lovely time in Palolem. The beach is clean, calm and perfect for relaxing. We stayed in a homestay close to the beach, and it felt very comfortable and peaceful. For food, we enjoyed cafés by the beach, especially the ones with sea-view seating. The vibe in Palolem is easygoing, and it’s simple to get around on foot or by renting a scooter. This place is great for groups of friends. You can go for dolphin trips, kayaking, silent disco, or just enjoy sunsets together at the beach. Overall, it was a positive and refreshing experience.

It is not easy to get around Anjuna, everything is very spread out and at night the wild dogs are quite agressive which I struggled with. I enjoy walking, but here you need to have a car / scooter or take lots of taxis. The market was good, we ate in nice restaurants like The Tanjore Tiffin (a bit more up market and we loved it), MS Slow Tide and Pirates Cafe on the beach. We also had a night out in Juna nightclub - good fun with great cocktails. Overall I didn't like Anjuna much, we were there in the low season and we struggled with getting around and all the dogs. It really depends what you're looking for, but for me Candolim was a better location and we left Anjuna early to return there.

You can travel to Old Goa for Churches and temples. You get a Market for everything: Kaju, Alcohol, Fashion and SPA Casinos on the river, Dining Cruises

Just go there if you are looking for a clean, unspoiled beach, which offers calm, serenity and great opportunities for dolphin sighting. Also, very easy to reach honeymoon, butterfly, cola and kakolem beaches from Agonda.

Russian Drum and base a bit much during the day, but on occasions it was ok. Beach itself is very good. Surrounding cafes and restaurants very good. All restaurants are varied and reasonably priced.
