Divine place of Jyotirling. Bol Bam. No Ola or Uber cabs available & the pvt cabs are quite pricey. The driver came very late for airport drop from the guest house & I almost missed my flight. The temple lacks any proper planning & management. Be prepared for 6 to 7hrs to finally get darshan of Baidyanath. Jamshedpur is an industrial township with overwhelming TATA presence. Though people mostly visit for business purposes, but it has quite a few tourist attractions also such as the Jubilee park, the nearby Dimna lakes and adjoining hills. I used to come this town and visit Baba Baijnath for 40 years appox. Now town expanded but more crowded. Roads are better maintained and temple is better maintained. Good residential hotels, restaurants, Airport & other communications developed. Sight seeing places are better maintained and worth seeing now. Ranchi is not a place i would recommend for european tourists. I was there to se England v India cricket. There is absolutely nothing in Ranchi to attract tourists. The photos are of my bed linen which had not been cleaned for i don’t know how long. Another reviewer said it was a 4 star hotel!
