everything was perfect! we got a very warm welcome with good food and tea. the place is very chill and quite, with an amazing view to the lake. perfect place if you want to clear your mind. all the staff is very kind and welcome, they helped us to get train tickets and airport transfer. we had a early morning train and they prepared us tea and fruit for the trip Treatments are great..had an amazing massage. It was a pity we couldn't stay longer

Was such a beautiful place . The people were the best friendliest family run , guest house. The position is perfect, away from crowds, quiet & near the beach & back water, can’t recommend this place enough. Coming to India for 37 years. & it’s up there with the best 👌👍

What else can we say ? It was perfect... The room was amazing and Stains and his wife and daughter were so friendly... Very thoughtful in every detail. We felt like we were at home. The breakfast was excellent. Various and tasty. Thank you again for everything! The nearest beaches are 20 min walk away. The area is just so lovely to walk around.

Pretty much everything! The room is comfortable and has a balcony with a sea view. Room has everything you need. Lakshmi and her family will go out of their way to make your stay really pleasant. Kerala breakfast is amazing.

It is not a stay. It's an experience that one will go through. Nice and warm welcoming host who takes care of you like a family. Very close to Cherai Beach and hence very advantageous. I would definitely recommend the place

I loved absolutely everything about the experience. The service was exceptional, Both Hosts and People working at the Vala House are super kind and going their way and beyond to accomodate the needs of the guests. The place is located in beautiful place, with the view on backwaters, very clean and the food is truly amazing. Whenever we had any issue with transport or anything, they helped us to solve them immediately. Beautiful place to regenerate and enjoy the nature.
