10 out of 10 this place. They charge you a premium price and unlike other hotels in Iceland you actually do get a PREMIUM experience. The room was designed to a standard which makes their nightly rates logical (unlike other hotels in Iceland). It was worth every cent in my eyes. Comfortable bed. Very nice bathtub. We had an amazing night and the tomahawk at their restaurant was sublime. You need to keep in mind that other places in Iceland will charge you same amount and you will NOT even remotely get your money's worth. That is not the case here.

The stay was great! Unfortunately I messed up the booking and booked only one night instead of the whole weekend. The staff was friendly when asking me to come pick up our stuff. Would've been nice to stay the whole weekend, such I nice place.

It’s a perfect base for exploring the golden circle and the south coast. There is only 4.3 mi to Hveragerdi and Selfoss, cities with a wide range of shops and restaurants.

The hot tubs were a great bonus. They upgraded us for free to have a private bathroom. It was warm, cozy, and clean. This was our favourite stop on our week long journey.

We were upgraded to the Hotel Geysir next door which was fabulous. Beautiful breakfast.
