This was the best hotel of our 12-days trip in Iceland. The rooms are very spacious and have an astonishing view on the fjord where the city of Akureyri rests. The owner is a very kind man who bakes fresh croissants every morning. Just an amazing experience

Loved the location, the room, the breakfast and the staff behaviour. The northern lights viewing point, the hot tub, the sauna, the snooker table and the dart board were amazing value add-ons. They had coffee/tea/hot cocoa through the day at their restaurant, and a kitchenette to microwave meals. Highly recommended stay option near Akureyri. Special shoutout to Karl for his warm welcome and hospitality throughout our three night stay.

The breakfast, the possibility of using a house fully equipped next to the hotel, great location and very confortable rooms. They also clean then daily. The WiFi is awesome, and there is a shared area very confortable if you need to work or use your computer.

This hotel is on Akureyri’s main street, Hafnarstraeti, less than 2 km from Akureyri Airport. It offers en-suite guest rooms, free parking and views of the Eyjafjörður fjord. Husavík is 90 km away.

Friendly staff upon arrival. Such a beautiful interior design - combination of vintage and modern. Best breakfast we’ve had - fresh fruit, bread selection, pastries, yogurts (vegan options a available), good coffee!! Nice location right on the lake

The location was great and very easy easy to find. Very central in Akureyri and just a 5 minute drive from the airport. There was ample parking and guest laundry facilities were free and available on site. The bed was so comfortable and the space was great. A large bathroom with walk in shower, great WiFi and smart TV, fully equipped kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer and all the pots and pans you need to cook as you might do at home. Communication was easy and any questions were quickly answered by Margrét. All in all there was nothing to fault about the stay and I would certainly make it my first choice to go back to.
