The location is absolutely amazing. We had a 6am flight and this hotel was just what we needed. We also had breakfast included and they started serving it at 4am, which allowed us the chance to have a quick bite before. It literally takes 5min to get to the terminal, super convenient. Also, the room was very spacious and clean. We had a 4 people family room and were very happy with it.

We received a warm welcome at the Park Inn. The staff on the desk was lovely and sorted out a taxi for us to the airport in the morning. Room was very big for two people and very clean. Dinner was exceptional, we had the steak sandwich and the bacon burger and they were fantastic. We also had desert which was fabulous! Staff at dinner were very friendly and helpful. Didn't expect much from a Park inn having staying in some in the UK but this one was superb.

Looks better than the pictures. Very clean and cozy place, we were only there for two days because we went somewhere else, but I wish we could have stayed longer. We arrived at 1am (01:00), There was a 24/7 reception that was very nice and helped us. In addition, the parking near the hotel is free. The hotel is located in a 10-minute drive from the airport. There is a very nice breakfast from 4pm to 10am, for 3100 crowns per person. They served scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon, fresh vegetables and fruits, cheese and cereal . There was also a dessert and hot and cold drinks. At the entrance there was a small kiosk where you could buy food and drinks. Plus, the room was cleaned every day. Overall the place is very good. Highly recommend.

The cleanliness and the staff who were extremely accommodating and helpful. We arrived 2hours before check in time and they got the room ready for us. We were greeted with a bottle of prosecco and they even prepared a takeaway breakfast as we were leaving at 5 am. The bed was very comfortable and so was the sofa bed.

Andi and Yuki are truly the epitome of exceptional, welcoming hosts. When reading the reviews prior to booking it all seemed too good to be true. The minute Andi picked us up from the airport, however, we understood exactly what everyone meant. We only got to stay one night at 1x6, but in that night we got to connect with people all over the world, and made some new friends from Oregon. The added homemade breakfast as great, and they were ready to help with anything we needed. For our next trip to Iceland, we’ll for sure be back!

Keflavik is a nice place with some great scenery .

Keflavik is a nice place with some great scenery . Had a nice lunch in the Library pub/ restaurant in main street . Absolutely no tourist information . The town is 40 odd km from Reyjavik , Bus from behind a supermarket , a 2 mile walk from hotel, the bus into the capital is hourly but stopped running at 7 25 pm on returns meaning we missed it after tour and had an extortionate taxi fare to pay to get back , and when i say extortionate i mean extortionate . Also Keflavik is hard to find any eating place for breakfast before 11 am , even the KFC does not open to then .

This town has been largely emptied of people since the volcano eruption there. There were two restaurants in the town that were still working and we tried one which was good. Staying here is good for an early morning next day flight from the airport, because most hotels near the airport are overpriced.

We chose to stay here on our last night in Iceland, for the convenience of the airport. It was really good, a very easy 10/15 minute drive, with no traffic or weather worries so was well worth it! Its close to blue lagoon too so you could go there, but it was fully booked for us so we drove up to Sky lagoon instead to soother our aching muscles! Has a hot tub which we didn't use as we had been to the lagoon but would have been a nice way to finish off especially as we were treated to a great Aurora display.. a fantastic way to bid farewell to Iceland! Very well equipped and nicely furnished. The only slight negative if we were staying longer is the walls were a little thin in the semi detached and you could hear next door at times, as they had a full house, so I would opt for the detached for privacy but fine for us for one night.

Easy to reach accommodation, nice room in a house with big communal areas like kitchen and lounge/dining room. Great location to go anywhere in Iceland. This time I only came to see the active volcano and this accommodation was perfect for my trip. Described with no wifi available, while instead fast wifi was there, so much better than expected. Thanks again.

Vogar is obviously just a bedroom community for Reykjavik with little there except a hotel, a motel, and a single uninteresting restaurant. It is convenient to the airport, the Blue Lagoon, and an excellent lava tube attraction. It is also close to the recent volcano eruption should you want to see than. The volcano was sleeping when we visited. It is far out of the path of the lava flow so it is quite safe.

Icelandair flies to so many good destinations on the European Continent. And Keflavik is a great stop over from cities in North America. Stay several days in Iceland before moving on. Great location 10 minutes from the Blue lagoon. We stayed here on our first night in Iceland going straight from the airport to the Blue lagoon then checked in. We just spent our last day in this area and overnight for a morning flight. We drove around the peninsula and took in the ocean and lava fields for the last time. The Bridge between the Continents was very interesting. We loved the city of Keflavik and especially the Dunn Museum cafe. (We got there too late for the museum itself.) We both took advantage of the seafood and were not disappointed. Halibut for me, which was fabulous. My husband had a seafood trio with shrimp and lobster. We both cleaned our plates!
