Very well located. The hotel seemed very new and clean. The rooms were cleaned everyday of my stay, and had everything you needed, it also had a nice balcony with sea view. The owner was very helpful and the breakfast was delicious. I absolutely recommend!

The place has a lovely holiday village vibe, with a small supermarket nearby and convenient parking right in front of the building. The lobby area feels a bit outdated, but the upstairs rooms are nicely renovated. Breakfast was tasty, though by 8:30 the selection was already limited. My family and I stayed in a two-room studio spread across two floors for several days. + The lower floor door opens directly to the yard, where you’ll find sun loungers on the lawn and a refreshing swimming pool - a well-thought-out placement indeed! + The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was exceptionally pleasant and friendly. + Breakfast followed the typical Italian style: a spread of bread, cheese, ham, muesli, pastries, cakes, juice, and excellent coffee.

    It’s one of a few dog friendly camping sites that are near to a dog friendly beach. It was perfect for me and my two dogs. It was very peaceful and chill. The air con worked beautifully and was a must at this time of the year. Also, there weren’t too many dogs around either, it was very balanced. The beach was not too crowded either, I could easily find a spot where I could swim and chill with my dogs without bothering anyone. There was also a perfect walking place for my dogs around the campsite with plenty of shade.

    After a great relaxing stay, Il Pellicano still maintains a very high standard all round, every time. It evokes a Chic, special place to relax and induldge in all it has to offer. A fantastic bar headed up by Frederico Morosi, Pelligrill and the Pellicano restaurant's offer a choice of quality food as well as superb breakfast. With an excellent choice of wines, the staff are very helpful, very professional, and first class.

    The Argentario area is great - lots of day trip options, various beaches. The Gianella beach has about 40m of very shallow water, lots of different kinds of shells, great for small kids, but also for swimming further out. We had a ground level apartment with a backyard with trees - great for kids playing, keeping all the beach toys etc, two drying racks. Many chairs both inside and outside.

    We came off season but it was superb. The staff was amazing even tho we spoke little Italian. Carlos and everyone at the bar were very friendly and helpful. It was amazing couple of days and we managed to relax outside of the busy cities.

    Orbetello is a sweet town with wonderful shops and cafes and streets to explore. Parking was easy, as we visited in March (off season). We enjoyed walking along the waterfront and eating several meals at Tratorria Marcella e Pasquale in the main piazza. Gorgeous, welcoming hosts and delicious homemade pasta meals and local wine.

    Final remarks on Argentario location overall: in our opinion it’s best visited by boat, so if your expectation is to find long wide sand beaches, they’re not really here. The only alternative is La Feniglia natural reserve, but that implies moving by car hoping to find a parking spot - that is about 10 kms away.

    Albinia town itself we were mobbed by mosquitos, so literally ate our food and dashed back to villa. Restaurant by the supermaket and the beach cafe the best. Porto Santo Stefano was our favourite place to visit and eat. Make sure you pay for car parking on one of the meters. Porto Ecole you can hire boat from for a few hours out on water. Again make sure to pay for car parking.

    Amazing place near the ocean with views and lots of things to do. We went to eat at Il Faro a couple of times and we really enjoyed it. Climbed the mountain to see the Etruscan ruins, great views from up there. The city of Talamone is very nice to walk and enjoy for the passeggiata.

    Upside, we loved the staff, the room was spacious, and enjoyed he pool. We found everything was clean, contrary to other reviews. The train was a constant annoyance and we recommend getting a room in the back. Our TV did not work and although they did suggest switching our room, we decided to remain and read our books. We dined at the restaurant one evening (we are former restaurant owners) and we were impressed with the service, quality of food, and impressive wine list. Flip-side, we were disappointed that we were charged for breakfast. We really wanted to like this hotel but it does have downsides.

    Porto Ercole is a wonderful hidden gem on Monte Argentario. It is a small town with lots of great restaurants and activities. We had a wonderful snorkeling day trip, drove to Porto Santo Stefano for a day at the beach, and enjoyed the ambiance and liveliness of the town. I did wish that we had more knowledge of how to book the beach umbrellas and chairs at the various beaches ahead of time, as we were there in August and the shade was a must! I would have liked to have had more time to do some hiking in other areas of Monte Argentario, that would be most logical to do in the cooler weather. Very friendly town with nice restaurants, great gelato and lovely people.

    Incredible place to relax and unwind. The staff and food are exceptional. The views are so beautiful and sunsets priceless. There are many activities during season we came at the end to relax between sightseeing in the major cities. Easy to get to between Florence/Pisa and Rome by train or car. We would definitely return!!

We rented chairs and an umbrella—though pricey, the facilities were excellent, with clean restrooms and a convenient food truck. We also spent time at the rooftop bar Scirocco, just past the hairpin turn. The valet parking was a much-appreciated touch. The views, service, drinks, and aperitifs were all outstanding. Unfortunately, the power was out in town, so most places were closed, but we did manage to visit Bar Porto, which is right on the water. Also visited Feniglia beach on our way out of town, gorgeous, sandy and spacious. Get to the beaches early in the day to find parking! Wish we had time to explore other areas on the island.
