Service at the hotel was great. The town itself had very few English speaking tourists, most seemed to be Italians from the mainland. You get a great sense of the local culture. Food and drink was very reasonably priced and very fresh. People were all lovely. Supermarket across the road from hotel had all we needed. The food at the hotel was good and there's another restaurant right on the coast only a few minutes walk from the hotel. There's a night market right outside the hotel door on Tuesdays and Thursdays that's worth a visit and the beach bar had a fireworks display and a DJ late into the night on the Saturday we stayed.

This is a small hotel in a very quiet hilltop village, the rooms are large and very comfortable. The staff is friendly, they have their own pizzeria downstairs. I stayed for one night for work and the place met all my expectations. Wifi, clean, comfortable, pizzeria just underneath, good shower.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful views of the sea and the castel! Breakfast was good, the beach is right across the road and you can use the SPA (paid) and pool area (free) a few houses away. Restaurants are around the hotel and there is a minimarket next to the hotel. Definitely recommend this hotel!

The private beach with the bar under the trees was really relaxing, the dinner was quite delicious and we could have several type of meats, fishes, seafood etc. The staff was kind and helpful :) The breakfast was also good :)

    We had the most delightful experience during our stay at this accommodation! The location couldn't have been better as it served as an ideal starting point to explore the beautiful nearby beaches. The convenience of having a pool and a wonderful restaurant nearby added to the overall charm of the place. What truly set this accommodation apart was the exceptional service provided by the manager. His friendliness and responsiveness made us feel warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable by providing us with fantastic recommendations for restaurants, beaches, and other activities in the area. The fact that the beach was just a short 10-minute walk away was an absolute bonus, and we loved that there was a playground for the children to enjoy as well. Having a shop and a gas pump nearby made our stay even more convenient and stress-free. In conclusion, this accommodation surpassed our expectations in every way possible. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and a great location for exploring the nearby beaches. We are already looking forward to returning here for another wonderful experience!

    Amazing place. you literally live here in beautiful nature among the rocks. Also the local piggies' were for us a very cute bonus :) We got a clean and spacious three-room apartment with a view of the sea and the pool and with three terraces. The apartment was furnished simply, but there was everything we needed, even the wifi connection was of great quality. The beds are big and comfortable. We were excellent price-quality ratio (in May). We were so satisfied here that we prolonged our stay twice :) We greet the friendly staff :)

    Castelsardo itself is an interesting small city with its...

    Castelsardo itself is an interesting small city with its castle and round streets. Hikers and people doing "steps" should love hundreds of steers and narrow uphill streets, especially in the rather well preserved tower area. And, it hides so good seafood restaurants with spectacular views. I thought I had it all already, yet we were seriously surprised of the food and service quality. Sure, tripadvisor points tell the story. Yet in some cities you could find pizza kiosks also with ratings like 4.8, so watch out. Trekking and hiking roads are also near by. Beware of review dates. Some are full of bushes, still not cleaned, so it took us 3 tryouts to find a decent track. Most of these tracks are unmarked. Would be hard to find these if you have experienced German way of marking tracks.

    Badesi is a small village with beautiful views and everything you need within a few hundred meters. It has a wonderful local atmosphere with very friendly people, a great café serving excellent croissants, and there’s always something going on. During our 9-day stay, we enjoyed three different local events.

    Isola Rossa is a charming town with nice restaurants and a lovely small beach. Since it's a bit isolated, making it difficult to reach the other side of the island for exploration, I would recommend staying a few nights before moving on.

    Costa paradiso is very beautiful area.

    Costa paradiso is very beautiful area. It' s really worth to visit this place. I absolutely loved it. There is very nice beach Li Cossi or La Sorgennte. There are few nice restaurants in Costa Paradiso resort but you can still travel few km outside the resort and find home made pasta to take away or buy wine at local people. I recommend that too.

    The town is turist place with no history or any other sights. During the high season there must be a lot of people. No WIFI. Poor kitchen equipment. Nice trips around (Castelsardo), nice beaches around - long sand beaches.

    Not much to do and see in the town.

    Not much to do and see in the town. A lot of it looked closed down and neglected. The main.attraction is the thermal spa but the building was all closed and in a sorry state of repair. But you could still access the river which had a temperature of 42 degrees. Some nice walks in the area and easy access to the coast and some interesting towns which were well worth the visit.

    Very nice city. Castle hill/old town area highly recommended, including the hiking paths around the hill, next to the sea. Breathtaking view from the top, in all directions (city center/coast/open sea) - really worth the struggle of walking up. Lots of restaurants/trattorias, a nice city beach (sand/small pebbles) that was not typically crowded (we were 3 days in the town in afternoon hours). Some good souvenir stores (with decent prices, and really local stuff).

    We had a wonderful holiday.

    We had a wonderful holiday. It was a pleasure to stay at Il Borgo di Badesi. It's worth knowing that washing up liquid, soap, bin bags etc are not provided, but JM supermarket is 3 minutes walk away, so it's not a problem. The supermarket is well-stocked and cheap, a bit like Lidl or Aldi. Badesi beach was quite windy, but Badesi is in easy reach of Santa Teresa Gallura and Castelsardo. We also had an amazing trip to one of the Costa Smeralda beaches. And of course the resort has 3 lovely pools. The price of the week was excellent, and we had one of our best ever holidays!
