Great location on backstreet away from the busy tourist areas along the waterfront. Spotlessly clean, super friendly and helpful staff. We stayed one night before our cruise and chose to take the short walk downhill to the port terminal hub. Just 100 metres walk from the markets and some excellent restaurants. We loved it.

The Location of the property is perfect, just 3 min walk from the beach and the beachfront which has quite some resturants, The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The staff is extremely helpful and we had so much support from Silvia who made us feel very welcome and helped us with a lot of things around Sperlonga. We loved the location - the setting of Aeneas Landing is stunning and hard to beat. The cabins on the beach (where we stayed) are so close to the sea, and it's lovely to hear the waves. The architecture of the resort is really special and distinctive - we particularly love the pool and bar area. All of the planting and garden spaces are gorgeous. The beach is well-maintained and perfect for relaxing on. The breakfast is amazing - the best cornetti I've ever had in Italy! Honestly wonderful. We also had lunch in the restaurant one afternoon. I am from the area and find the prices very inflated, but what we had (3 contorni) was delicious. One evening, we had some family come to visit us at the bar. We all had one (expensive) drink, but the staff brought out an incredible spread of aperitivi snacks. A nice touch.

This was a perfect stay. The staff and service was fantastic, the room was clean, the bed was super comfy and with beautiful sea view. Food (breakfast, dinner) was exceptional. The beach has black sand, but the sun beds are provided, so we enjoyed the sea very much. The sea itself is clean. We loved every moment here and we will come back.

Great position, comfortable to reach the nearest point of interest, but isolate enough to not have groups of people roaming the beach. It is still not high season so it may change. Please go to the restaurant...at least once is amazing 😁.the structure is clean and cozy even in my single room.

Ostia could have nice promenade by the sea, but there are walls, some abandoned restaurants and beach facilities and a lot of trash. You can walk by the sea only on a small part of coast near marina. It is good place to stay if you want to go to Rome becouse it is on metro line and also the airport is near

We were there for 2 days before the cruise. The restaurants along the beach seem to be tourist traps. The Sealovers House is where we stayed, was disappointing. No hot water and a broken elevator on the 3rd floor. The MyLord restaurant was a fail. My pasta was so salty I couldn't eat it. The waiter didn't care. I feel like the area is taking advantage of a good thing they have at the port, for consumers. On a good note, the waterfront is beautiful. Convenient for a cruise out of Rome. Good Luck!

During my visit to Gaeta, I was truly impressed by several places in this charming coastal town. I especially loved walking along the seaside promenade and the beautiful avenue of plane trees—it was very relaxing and scenic. The old town with its colorful streets and historic buildings was also a highlight. For a quick bite or a casual meal, there are plenty of great options. I particularly enjoyed the local cafés and restaurants where you can try fresh seafood and traditional Italian dishes. There are also small grocery stores nearby if you prefer to grab something on the go. Getting around Gaeta is quite easy. The town is compact, so most places can be reached on foot, and it’s very pleasant to explore the streets at a leisurely pace. For families with young children, I would highly recommend visiting the beaches, which are clean and safe. A walk along the promenade or a visit to the Spanish Fortress on Monte Orlando is also fun and manageable with kids. The town has a relaxed atmosphere, making it perfect for families to enjoy both sightseeing and leisure time together.

Formia is a great place to visit, it has it all, beaches, restaurants, bars and lots and lots of history. Cisternone Romano Is a must see and only takes about 30 minutes, there are many Roman ruins and artefacts to see. The local wine shops are great and you can get fresh wine by the litre for less than €2! Olives and buffalo mozzarella are the best in the area and on sale everywhere (Itri and Gaeta make the best) the beaches are great and most have a lido bar and facilities costing around €15 to €25 for umbrella and 2 loungers for the day.

We were in Ostia Antica Arcaelogical Park in the begin of the month and we got free tickets. If you want to explore all old city without haste, you need all day. We came at 08.30 a.m., but at 16.30 p.m. was necessary to go away. This old city is amazing. There is a lot good saved buildings and you can imagine very well how people lived, worked and enjoyed many, many years ago. You can touch and feel ancient Roman culture. I really recommend this location for visiting 😀

We enjoyed the beaches and the laid back atmosphere of the town. We went to Rome a couple of days, but just being in a smaller town and walking on the beach was lovely! We ate gelato and pastries from Helamani which was delicious!! We had seafood pasta at El Chucharrito which was good. We also enjoyed Torre Flavia Ruderi, the tower on the beach. There were people kite surfing there and you could see the mountains in the distance. The train is convenient and walkable to most places in Ladispoli we wanted to go.

Sabaudia is a really pretty and nice looking town right near the sea and on a lake. Enjoyed seeing a part of Italy many international tourists don’t often go to. Typical Italian restaurants book out on weekends & unlike more touristy spots aren’t very accommodating for walk ins. Don’t expect many to speak much English, lucky not an issue as I speak it but my husband struggled a bit

Lovely place. Everyone very friendly. Sea great for gentle swimming; beautiful light in walks along lungomare, thanks to east-west orientation. Temple above Terracina a wonderful place to visit and look down from; another temple in Terracina itself, and a small Roman theatre, also full of interest. Many cats, and lots of local kindness to them. Restaurants very accommodating for vegans; ready to adapt and suggest.
