- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.0Good - What previous guests thought, 180 reviewsHotel la Playa was located right on the beach and situated right on the main road where all the restaurants and shops were. The hotel pool is incredible, clean, large and deep (with a shallow end as well). The beach is gorgeous and there is a hotel lifeguard on the beach to keep the clientele and their things safe. Hotel accommodations included beach beds and umbrellas which was a huge relief. The included breakfast was very good with many options and the cappuccino was delicious. The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. We strongly recommend Hotel la Playa for your stay in Sperlonga and will return without a doubt!Guest review byManfriniCanada
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 454 reviewsWe arrived very open minded - our first visit to Ponza turned out to be an amazing holiday. Rooms are nice, not very big, but comfortable and spotlessly clean. A good breakfast is offered in a beautiful garden (the best torta di mele), excellent choice of fresh frutis, cold cuts, eggs… needless to say, excellent coffee. But, above everything, friendly and helpful staff are the soul of the hotel…and the spa. Probably the best we have ever seen - so charming and so different than any other spa you will find in the world. What a jewel, we must be back….Guest review byDraganaFrance
- From US$89.78 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 26,218 reviewsThe cabin was great! It had all kitchen equipment we might have needed like pans, cutlery, stove, coffee machine, refrigerator and microwave. Two bathrooms which was perfect for sharing the cabin between 5 people. I loved the environment of the hotel and I could have stayed longer there just to enjoy the facilities. They have a small supermarket inside the premises, also a laundromat for around 6 euros and a pretty good restaurant inside. You cannot get a better benefit-cost ratio in Rome when traveling with family.Guest review byAmandaGermany
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 102 reviewsMost of all, the staff - the ladies on Reception (Francesca especially) were delightful and so helpful when we decided to stay on for an extra night. The restaurant staff achieved the perfect balance between being friendly and yet professional. The beach is fantastic, the food is great, my room had a balcony with sea view - couldn't have asked for more really. The location between Gaeta and Sperlonga is perfect for visiting either town. The lifts all over the hotel made getting around so easy.Guest review byAnonymousUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 227 reviewsReally nice camping in the shade of old trees. The bungalow was well equipped, clean. The kitchen was equipped with all necessary equipment. Small terrace had barrier, so kids/dogs can't run out. The mini market had fresh bread and basic groceries. The beach is nice, clean, part with dogs is just next to the non-dog area. Both has umbrellas and sun beds.Guest review byJiříCzech Republic

My husband and I stayed here for our final night in Italy so we could be close to the airport for departure the next day. The apartment was very generous in size, with a lounge/dining, kitchen with small balcony overlooking the carpark with cafe table & 2 chairs, bathroom and bedroom. We left our luggage - including my husband's bike - in the car overnight and felt very safe doing so as both the apartment and the car park area could only be accessed by residents with keys. The instructions to find and enter the apartment were very clear - and included a video which made the process very simple to replicate. We could walk to the beach from the apartment and we found a bar to have an aperol spritz and then a seafood meal to celebrate the end of our Italy trip - both of which were recommended by the host (who lives in the apartment upstairs and was super helpful).Guest review byPJHAustralia - 6.0

There is no easy walking access to the cruise port or terminals, you will have to book a taxi OR take a bus from the train station to the port (40e). It is confusing and not well detailed by the cruise companies - do your research. Taxi from the train station to an apartment is equally a hassle (30e minimum).Guest review byAlanUnited States - 8.0

Viterbo is a lovely town to visit and it is definitely a trip worth it if you want to escape all the hassle and bustle of Rome. Viterbo has a unique charm and I fell in love with it when I walked the Via Francigena. I stayed in Orchard Bed & Breakafast in Viterbo centre on the Via francigena path as it is available for pilgrims. Viterbo has more than one Spa resort. There are plenty of restaurants and the city is booming with vibrance and cafes. staying 3 nights in Viterbo was definitely worth it. The Park is lovely and the people are friendly. You do not have to worry about theft or other annoying misdemeanors. I would recommend 'Pizza Express'. It is an Indian restaurant, reasonable price and offers a wide range of dishes!!!Guest review byAquilaIreland - 10.0

Gaeta is a lovely beach town that sits half between Rome and Naples. The beach is flat white sand and superb for swimmers of all ages. Crystal clear waters awaits you. Gaeta is split in two. The old town near the Port and the newer town on Serapo Beach. Its a perfect place for a summer holidayGuest review byPaulineAustralia - 8.0

Beyond gorgeous. It’s a dream vacation spot and easily travelled by electric bike to all the beaches. Mostly Italian tourists which made it seem much more chilled out than other beach spots in Italy. Highly recommendGuest review byKristinaUnited States - 10.0
We were in Terracina the last two weeks of June.
We were in Terracina the last two weeks of June. We experienced a local feel with few tourists. the old town is fantastic. We rented electric bikes, which is recommended. Then you can get around easily. A trip up to the temple went like a dream in the heat. We also cycled out to the Cantina Sant'Andrea winery. It took approx. one hour one way. A wonderful trip and a great visit where we tasted many good wines. One should also enter a trip to Ponza. The ferry departs from the city centre. An incredibly cozy island. We chose to rent a boat when we were out there, so that we could take a trip to the outside of the island and swim in the crystal clear water. It was magical! We only took a day trip, but we should have included an overnight stay at Ponza.Guest review byKnut IvarNorway - 10.0

Villa d’Este was amazing and had waterfalls to rival Palace of Versailles. The walk through Villa Gregoriana gardens down the side of the hill to the bottom of the waterfalls was a solid hike and not for the feeble. Definitely take a couple of hours to visit Hadrian’s Villa (aka Villa Adriana) which had amazing historical half crumbling palace and ornamental lake.Guest review bySharee F.Australia - 10.0
