It still has the charm or a traditional Albergo with the downstairs area still having the charm of its origins in 1930. However our room on the new 4th floor had comfortable bed and a fantastic walk in rain shower which provided the necessary simple modern comforts. The staff were all so welcoming and helpful and the breakfast each morning was lovely. Location for skiing is particularly good as the Frechay lift is now a modern funicular that gives you quick access to the Frechay and Greasonay areas better than from Champoluc. If you want to go into Champoluc for nightlife then you will have to take a taxi or have a car . However for skiing it is a good option and one which exceeded our expectations.

Lovely hotel, great location for those able to walk a lot. Difficult for a family with children as there is no restaurant for the evening meals. Especially in winter this would be a problem. The restaurants in town would be too far to walk in snow and parking in town is not easy.

We, group of friends, had visited the hotel for ski holidays and thanks to the beautiful location and very gentle staff we had an outstanding experience. The structure of the hotel as new and very curated, excellent delusions breakfast, and of course spa and outdoor jacuzzi were the part of that experience. Well located family-run hotel with great service, food and lovely rooms. Excellent, on demand, mini bus service to lift facilities although the gondola is well within walking distance. Lovely pro-active family vibe with music evenings and wine tasting to add to the excellent evening food and delicious breakfasts.

Perfectly located next, steps away from the ski lift and the ski rental shop. Makes for an easy skiing trip. The hotel is perfectly set up for a winter stay, and the hosts are very welcoming. Although limited in food choices, the cold cuts and cheese they serve are amazing.
