I fell in love with Mo.he last year, when I started coming regularly for their divine brunches and unforgettable dinners. This year, we finally managed to book a room for the dates we wanted – and it exceeded all our expectations. Amazingly designed properly with next level views of snow capped mountains. Host were so accommodating and the place was impeccable. A really short walk to town centre where the coffee and food will blow your mind. The walk back up the hill helps burn a few calories after the pizza, pasta and beer! We will be back with my family without a question. Apart from the accommodation I have fallen in love with Bormio. Honestly my favourite part of Italy.

    There's so much to do in the area. we went summer skiing at...

    There's so much to do in the area. we went summer skiing at the glacier (Stelvio), which was ok (lots of long lines for the button lifts because of the hundreds of ski club teams). But the nearby QC Terme Bagni Vecchi was amazing. Would like to have stayed longer for hiking and mountain biking. Very nice little town and beautfil surroundings.

    Beautiful countryside and perfect for walking or cycling in the hillsides around the village, plus some really nice restaurants open late into the evening filled with people who all appeared to be having a good time. Also great to be able to do some duty free shopping.

    Tirano is a really nice little town, busy with plenty of visitors, but also with plenty of locals out and about enjoying the restaurants and cafes. Unfortunately we only stayed one night but we had time to explore the old town and wished we had a bit more time to visit more of the restaurants. I would recommend Vineria Carin where there were a number of local wines to sample by the glass with very helpful and knowledgeable staff.

    Nice to wander among the cobbled streets of the old town and set off on the wine trail among the vineyards. Walk for as far as you want then head down to the valley floor to get a bus back to Sondrio. Great walks in Valmalenco. Not far to Switzerland - Passo Bernina is very picturesque.

    Morbegno is a convenient place to stay in the Valtellina...

    Morbegno is a convenient place to stay in the Valtellina area. We travelled here from Menaggio on Lake Como . On the way we went on a small detour to see the Acquafraggia waterfalls and the amazing Palazzo Vertamate Franchi. We took a nice day trip from Morbegno to the Gerola Alta to visit the Bitto cheese museum . When departing we were needing to get to Tirano in the morning to get on the spectacular Bernina Express train. This was a convenient place to travel from .

    A very pleasant and charming small town nestled in the mountains. The town reflects its rich history, yet it offers plenty of small shops. The mountain slopes are right next door and easily accessible from the town. The opportunities for cycling, spa visits, and hiking are fantastic!

    Livigno is one of a kind.

    Livigno is one of a kind. Location is distant from everything, but the place is magical. Almost always sunny, be prepared for a lot of sun. Great italian cuisine. Good prices as it is duty free zone. A lot of fun on and off pistes and of course crazy apres-ski parties every day :-)
