The facility is amazingly close to Petra. You can arrive there by walking nearly 200-300 meters. After 28000 pace in Petra, swimming in the rooftop pool is very relaxing. We have stayed 4 different hotels in Jordan. It was the most perfect one so far. The lobby looks very luxurious. They have very beatiful interior designs in the lobby and corridors. The breakfast was so far the best one. They have to many options to chose from cheddar to pastries. They put 2 types of tea and coffee to rooms. They have parking area which is very important considering Petra's narrow roads. The staff was very helpful. They explained us how can we travel in petra, which roads should we chose. They even gave us small presents when we are checking out. Thank you for everything...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at hotel Petra Moon that exceeded all my expectations: from the breathtaking location to the top-notch facilities, everything was simply perfect! However, what truly made my stay unforgettable was the extraordinary service provided by the hotel staff, particularly Raja and Osama at the front desk, Hosaifa, and the entire team. From the moment I arrived at the hotel, I was greeted with great kindness and professionalism. Raja at the front desk not only efficiently handled the check-in process but also took the time to explain all the amenities and services available at the hotel. The attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable were truly commendable. They were always willing to answer my questions and provide helpful recommendations on places to visit in the city. Their passion for their work and genuine interest in guest satisfaction made a significant difference in my experience. Hosaifa, on the other hand, was always attentive. His friendly attitude and professionalism were exceptional. He was constantly attentive to my needs and asking if I needed anything. If you are looking for natural beauty, excellent hospitality and peace, Dana Horizon Hotel is the place you need. The location is hidden from the outside world, but it was really easy to find it, and the road is in great condition too. Dinner was amazing, Musa and his mother did a superb job. We had breakfast too, which we enjoyed just as much as dinner. The portions were so big, we couldn't even finish it. Overall, amazing experience, lot of hiking spots around, everyone should visit.

    We upgraded for the luxury tent and it was worth it. The tents are very nice, with comfortable bed and a big bathroom with a very nice shower. The camp is so special with its cozy main tent where people come together after the petra tours to relax, listen to local music and drink (complementary) tee. The lights at night are amazing. The food at dinner and breakfast was also amazing, with a big buffet of local food. Everyone was super friendly. The location is perfect for starting the petra tour from the back entry (highly recommended).

    We had a wonderful stay at the Dana Guest House. One of the best experience of our life, all the staff is here to make you feel at home, with authenticity and generosity. The view on the Dana Reserve is breathless, especially as you can even enjoy it from your shower! The home-made diner was amazing with a lot of choice. And Salem was an incredible host, with great advices and always paying attention to us. If you come to Jordan, you should not miss this place !

    Fantastic staff, friendly and welcoming, happy to offer u an upgrade if possible, food was lovely, views were epic, we stayed in dome with the en suite bathroom, it was just Great..we were sad to stay just one night and wish we could stay longer.     Probably my rating or comment is not suitable for every travelers as foreigner but living in Jordan for long time. Definitely, I need 5 star hotels in Dead Sea or Aqaba to refresh myself and my family regularly. But Dana is a great place to also have regular visit as it is located within 2.5 hours range from my home in Amman, and to experience this great nature in reasonable expense. After over 10 years of staying in this country, as a person like to sleep under the millions of stars, Dana is most frequently visited location at the recent years of my life in Jordan.

    we have encountered fraudulent behavior on the part of the accommodation operator. after making the reservation via "booking.com" we arrived to the location - meeting with the resort representative "Ahmad" we were taken to another camp resort ( very old, nor matching the pictures during the booking, empty ) being told that the other "camp" is full... but 1 room could still be found - as long as we're happy to pay double price. We accepted as we're in the middle of desert. But this was clearly deliberate fraudulent conduct. Our recommendation would be for Booking.com not to keep contractual relationship with such accommodation providers.

    The village has been abandoned and then rebuilt as a hotel. It sits above a valley and has a stunning view that goes all the way to the Dead Sea. The very friendly Musaad made sure that everyone felt welcome and helped. He also set up a guide for our trip to the nearby Sela' fortress, which is a very interesting Nabataean site. A beautiful spot away from the crowds of tourists, a chance to see the real Jordan.

    Very interesting place. The Petra complex is unfergottable. We found there some very good restaurants. Examples: My Mom's Recipe Restaurant, Palm Court Restaurant & Cafe, Old Street Cafe & Restaurant.

    The reserve is beautiful.

    The reserve is beautiful. We spent 3 days hiking and hardly saw any other people. Amazing colors and sweeping vistas. Definitely go with a knowledgeable guide to get the best experience. Stay at the Jabal Dana Hotel for great views and amazing food.

    Perfect place to stay in Little Petra, very near from Petra itself with the advantage of being isolated from the tourist crowd Staff is friendly and their recommandations of what; where, how, the do and don't is highly valuable Food was good and diverse ut breakfast can be improved

    Petra is always a magical place in your imagination.

    Petra is always a magical place in your imagination. However it does not compare to the real thing! No matter how vivid your imagination! You need at least two whole days if not three to really enjoy the sights of Petra. We stayed a short distance away from the visitor center closer to the town centre where there are lovely restaurants and a more local vibe. It's better to take it easier and absorb the local culture and ancient history.

    Pay attention to the weather conditions depending on the time of year. We had to abandon the hike due to heavy rain 3 days before (end of February/beginning of March). Our host recommended doing this hike after March 15 and ideally in May.

    Great location right next to little Petra and 5 minutes from...

    Great location right next to little Petra and 5 minutes from Petra. Suggest you take a car to the top (Rear) of Petra and enter near the monastery then walk down hill towards the entrance as it is a big day of walking. Hotel has lovely staff and very helpful. Every night was a large outdoor fire with tea service and music while the hills had lights on them for great photos. Suggest spending two nights in this hotel min maybe 3-4 nights to experience all the surround areas.
