- From US$70.42 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 6.3Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 117 reviewsThe customer service was exceptional. The receptionist really went out of her way to help us with directions for the next day and ensured we had towels and items for use of the onsen. She was really wonderful, all the staff were amazing to deal with. Very friendly and spoke English well! The neighboring onsen was delightful after a long day of travelling. It overlooks the ocean and has a steam room along with warm pools. And completely free! Great facilities. Pristine! The room was bigger than we expected which is a great surprise. It also came with body wash, shampoo and conditioner. It was perfect for a night and I found the room very clean and comfortable. The double bed was also quite cosy. The location was perfect! On the right you can see Sumato castle and the left is the bus terminal which gives you access to both the north and south of Awaji Island. There's a good choice of local izakayas and restaurants in the area all within walking distance. And you're very close to the beach!Guest review bySasha-LeighNew Zealand
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 103 reviewsLuxury stay with heartfelt service!** The hotel offers upscale facilities, and the dinner & breakfast plan was exceptionally delicious. Every staff member demonstrated warm hospitality and attentive service that left a deep impression. > > **Considerate suggestion:** During my stay with elderly parents, we were seated on tatami flooring for dinner, causing significant difficulty in standing up after the meal. After providing feedback, the staff promptly arranged chair seating for breakfast – a much more comfortable solution. **I would suggest proactively confirming seating preferences for senior guests at check-in to avoid tatami arrangements, ensuring a more accessible dining experience.**Guest review byMan LamHong Kong
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 318 reviewsStaff was SO HELPFUL. I received 5 star treatment for 3 star price. The whole experience was luxurious and relaxing. I also made a last minute change to the reservation, and accommodated an extra person in the same room with no real fuss. I was nervous based on negative reviews, but I honestly believe they were TRYING to be dissatisfied. "The geta are too hard" SIR THEY ARE WOODEN!! An absolutely delightful experience I would happily revisit. The rooms are beautiful and contain all the necessities for a bath. Private shoe lockers are included. I am an overweight person, and they had yukata that fit me.Guest review byTRJapan
- From US$163.87 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 128 reviewsThere was a roof top onsen, and I could see the night skies. Free parking, definitely need a car to get there. A stay there allows you to use onsens at their sister hotels/ryokans. Unfortunately we didn't have time to check these onsens. Breakfast was good with lots of varieties. Room was spacious. We enjoyed our stay.Guest review byEatnTravelLingSingapore

I visited the theme park Nijigen No Morii with Naruto and Dragonquest Island and both was amazing. Ill definitely come Back to the Park. It's a bit tricky to get around with the local (limited) buses as there run only about once every hour so a rental car ist the better option. From Iwaya Port theres a Shuttle bus to Nijigen No Morii and the hello Kitty sites, it's free and stops on a couple of sites along the route. The Shuttle operates from 10am to 9pm.Guest review byNicoleGermany - 4.0
It is sad to see dying city, even small one.
It is sad to see dying city, even small one. Nothing to do there, difficult to find a nice place to eat even food prices are high. Ohama beach is nice, however there are some creatures in the sea which sting you. Overrated place to visit.Guest review byIrinaJapan
