I can't think of anything that wasn't great about this hotel. Standouts include the rooms themselves (very spacious), the beds were very comfortable, the location was quite good (walkable distance to the A-bomb dome), all for a great price. The amenities and the free laundry were a cherry on top.

We had an amazing stay at Miyajima Grand Hotel — everything from the traditional atmosphere to the onsen and the meals was top-notch. The location is perfect, close to the ferry and the Itsukushima Shrine, yet peaceful and relaxing. A special thank you to the kind and attentive young woman who took care of us throughout our stay — unfortunately, we don’t remember her name, but she was truly wonderful. She helped us feel welcome, explained everything patiently, and made sure we were comfortable at all times. We stayed in room 411, 30-31.05.2025. This hotel combines warm hospitality with authentic Japanese charm. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Miyajima!

Super helpful staff - i needed some meds to cycle Shimanami Kaido the next day and the staff happily showed me the neqrest pharmacy - they helped explain regarding baggage transfer during the cycle Clean rooms - i'm guessing its a new place with how clean everything was Good location to start shimanami kaido - its a 10min walk to the shimanami port cycle place

The location above the station was perfect for us, as we arrived by Shinkansen and stayed 2 nights before departing by Shinkansen again. From here, you can walk to the main sights in the city, or take the tube anywhere. The hotel is also situated above the Minamoa mall, so it’s very easy to get food or do shopping. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. We really liked that the shower and toilet are separate rooms. The hotel just opened, so it has all the high-tech features, such as a smart TV and convenient self check-in. The staff were very friendly and attentive. They helped with everything, including the luggage forwarding. They always greeted us with a smile.

Our stay exceeded our expectations, which were already high based on photos and reviews of the hotel. The staff gave us a wonderful welcome and provided all useful information we could need (in English) and were so helpful in arranging transfers to and from the ferry port. The facility is gorgeous and it is clear that a lot of thought went into the details, from the amenities to the decor and also in the guest experience. The onsens were also beautifully done and very relaxing. The food was excellent and most of it locally sourced. The Japanese breakfast was exceptional and we also had a great dinner at the hotel restaurant one night. Lastly, the staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating. We had a very lovely stay and would stay again!
