The size of the room was probably the equivalent to a suite in some other hotels. there was a entrance area in the room with a closet, onsen baskets & drawers to choose which coloured belt you want to wear & a wardrobe. Following in from that there was a mattress & base bed sleeping area & a slightly raised Tatami area with other bedding options storage & low tea serving area. A sitting area with table etc Then a full bathroom with another door leading to sep wash area & wc. Even a peep of the sea & the hotel was surrounded by beautiful old pine trees you could hear the ocean everywhere & the aquarium was across the road. We had breakfast in the main dinning room & it was a fairly majestic experience. The trains run frequently and there are several places to find great food around the station and deeper in the city. Take note of the carpark if driving. The carpark is a multi storey block behind the hotel. Only available from level 3 onwards. We parked at level 4 and fprtunately there was a lift that brought us to level 3, which is the street level leading to hotel.
