Rita Izumo is an ancient warehouse that has been beautifully renovated. The inside in ancient wood is very cosy, every object has been chosen with care and taste. Very comfortable space, lovely fresh flowers in every room. My host, Yamane San was very welcoming, kind and helpful. Thank you for everything 🙌🏻 Delicious breakfast in an old soy brewery next door with the kindest host. I can only highly recommend Rita Izumo when staying in Izumo !

Great location right beside the main train station with lots of restaurant options, convenience stores, and souvenir shops nearby. The parking was a lot beside the hotel with in and out privileges added to your room bill (1100 yen for 2 nights) and no issue finding a spot even when the hotel was busy. The points the hotel excelled at were the staff, the onsen was amazing, the breakfast was substantial for the price and excellent quality but the free items exceeded my expectations. Free probiotic yogurt drink in the morning, free popsicles in the afternoon & evening, free coffee, and the evening free ramen was excellent. My wife who is Japanese said the ramen was perfect. I have no hesitation recommending this hotel and Dormy Inn.

Walkable from Tsuwano station. The reception staff were very kind. As a solo traveller I prefer to get a plan with breakfast and dinner and I enjoyed the diverse and delicious meals at Yutorelo Tsuwano. Each meal has great variety and menus don't repeat from day to day so you get the opportunity to eat different food. I enjoyed the free tea, coffee, snack and drinks offered in the "cafe". As for sight-seeing in Tsuwano, the town presents the sites with a range of ukiyo-e pictures to show the historical landscapes and townscapes and we can see what remains today. A lot of the town is well preserved from the Edo period. Both the Inari shrine and the Tsuwano castle involves some hiking so the hotel's shared onsen bath is a treat to come back to after a day of exploring. If you are a day-tripper you can leave your luggage at the kind bike shop in front of the station and cover the town by pedal power. If you come on weekends you can catch the old steam train which runs from Tsuwano to Yamaguchi
