The wonderul staff team at Mukima spoiled us with kindness, presented us with beautiful meals and looked after our every need. Waking up each morning to the splendid view of Mount Kenya framed by the beautiful grounds is something we'll never forget. The 1930's country house has been lovingly restored and beautifully furnished. And let's not forget the pool, gardens, private lake and walking paths. There are many interesting things to do in the area. We spent an unforgettable day at the Ol Pajeta Conservancy.

We loved our stay at Soames and will definitely book again if we're ever in Nanyuki. The room, bar area, location and setting were absolutely beautiful. We're also vegan, and the staff were amazing at ensuring we had multiple options to choose from on the menu. Really friendly staff -- an amazing, peaceful stay. Highly recommend!

We were given a free upgrade to a suite called Mount Kilimanjaro and everything was perfect. The staff were helpful and friendly 100%. We used room service to order dinner to our suite. We loved the smart TV which had Netflix, Prime and YouTube. We were able to park outside our cottage and would happily stay again.

Kelvin and his staff were extremely helpful and kind, organising two trips for us for good value for money. Breakfast was exceptional and so was dinner (the menu curated by chef Kelvin), with good diversity of dishes. They even provided mosquito nets for us to feel safe (even though there were none). Beds were nice (not too soft matresses). The place is recluded, quiet and green.

Good service and the service was great. The rooms were nice with big comfy beds and the large screen Smart TV. The location is also good. Only we suffered with vegetarian food (especially for Indians). No options for us. Other than food, everything is excellent.

    A beautifully done property. A great stop off for us as we did Ol Pajeta and then headed off to Samburu. Strategically located off the main road, the accomodation was expansive and the temperature cool. Loads of facilities for kids, a playground and a pool. Breakfast was very generous and they accomodated vegetarian and coeliac needs for the group. Some of the party wanted to cook and they brought in a stove and gas. Our room had a small fridge and tea making facilities which were very welcomed. We had 2 double beds with fantastic linens and comfortable pillows. Locally owned and managed. I rate this property very highly as I think it represents great value for money. Will definitely visit again

    Super peaceful location out in the country, tidy huts neatly spaced in the garden area connected by paths. Room was very spacious with good size bathroom, very clean and tidy with plenty of plugs and very comfortable bed. Nice porch area so you can sit outside have a drink and enjoy the tranquility. Was a nice breakfast area, perfect for a very relaxing start to the day and helpful staff. Cute cat and dogs to keep you company as well.

    Good and reasonably priced acomodation with waterhole in front of most tents, good restaurant, swimming pool. Very good point to start self drive safaris in Ol Pejeta Conservancy, however we found western areas 7 - 10 km behind the bridge, along the river the most interesting.

    Nanyuki offers many varied cultural experiences. We enjoyed the conservancy and the many restaurants while we were there. I highly recommend Rafiki House as a place to stay. Very cute and exceptional customer service.

    The weather was beautiful especially during the day, overcast but not cold so outdoor activities were easy to plan. The roads linking other towns were also really good making interconnections simple. Having a private car to navigate is very important. I struggled finding an online cab which makes movement during rainy season a bit tricky.

    Ambience is great, clean rooms and well constructed and maintained. Lots of activities to keep one busy if come in groups. Well located near nanyuki town. The food was tasty and fresh. The water for showring was soft and no mosquitos. The breakfast variety is too little and the milk not ready with the hot water, had to wait.

    Nyahururu is a small town, to some extent it is a sleepy...

    Nyahururu is a small town, to some extent it is a sleepy town with not much to do but perfect for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. Thompson Falls Lodge is a great place to stop at for lunch/dinner and to view the falls from. Just outside of their vicinity they also have a couple of souvenir shops. Panari Resort is excellent for a short stay accomodation. And lastly, for golf lovers there is a golf club in the town as well.

    it is a good place for family holiday with so much activities to do that will make you enjoy your holiday...abit cold make sure you carry warm clothing and also note that swimming is best during mid day as the sun is up late evening swimming might be abit chilly

    The weather in Nanyuki is absolutely awesome.

    The weather in Nanyuki is absolutely awesome. Though it can get cold, the sun was out. Additionally, there are good places to visit ie Sportman Arms Hotel, Sweetwaters Game Reserve and there is access to a mall and a good club in the town center - Moran Lounge.
