Jannat house is very very romantic! The house is built in typical Swahili style and it lies in the centre of Lamu. It is super cosy, beautiful, rustic with many beautiful plants around and an amazing small pool in the centre of the house, next to a bar. The highlight (besides romantic style of the house with many balconies and stairs) were the people working there! Caroline and the rest of the staff were amazing! super cool, helpful, constantly around making sure we have everything we need. They also prepare the freshest food and the breakfasts were great. Thank you so so much fot this beautiful experience! They are also well known in Lamu and well conected and can help you with tips on where to go and how to reach it. Great!! Thanks so much, I hope I see you guys soon!

Excellent location in the heart of Lamu town. I was given the choice of the available rooms. I loved the decor. Beautiful view of the sunrise from the terrace. Breakfast was so tasty. Muhammed also arranged a brilliant sunset boat trip for me for a great price.

Location is nice, everything is clean, the roof top is a perfect place to chill, breakfast is delicious and Arnold and Fred were very helpful and smiling at any time. Do not hesitate !

I understand why this house was one of the best-reviewed. Amani was amazing and made my stay comfortable. I met some great guests there with whom I was able to spend my time. The house is more beautiful than the pictures show and had the best scrambled eggs in my life there. Hot water was available which I loved and breakfast was served at the rooftop which had an amazing view of the sand dunes

Kijani is a charming little hotel in Shela, well located to discover the village on foot, and the nearby islands by boat. It has everything one needs for a perfect holiday; provides a quiet and peaceful backdrop. We loved the flexibility of management (even with last minute issues), return boat transfers included in the price, amazing breakfast and restaurant. Fantastic staff (management, reception, cleaning team, restaurant, kitchen, guards, in short: EVERYONE): kind, attentive, all while being respectful of privacy. I loved my time at Shela Bliss. The owner was so kind, always available to help, organized fun activities every day, and made amazing breakfasts with fresh juices every morning. Felt like staying with a friend! I was really impressed by how clean and well-kept the place was. The rooms, bathrooms, and common areas were all fresh and tidy-it made the stay so comfortable. Abdullah clearly takes pride in the place, and it shows! Would happily stay again.
