Nearby the hotel, within walking distance, are a number of convenience stores and small restaurants, a great alternative to the expensive hotel meals. The hotel was easy to find, with plenty of free undercover parking on site. Our room overlooked the verdant valley below and we had the rising sun shining through our window every morning. Our room was large, bright and airy with a nice balcony. We had all the mod cons you’d expect: AC, TV, free Wifi, fridge, electric toilet, etc. Our bed was super comfy and there was no outside noise at all so we had very good sleeps. We liked the convenience store (7-11) located in the lobby and made use of it several times. The gym is decent, but not great. For cardio gear, there are only 3 treadmills, nothing else. There are a number of decent quality weight machines, a set of dumbbells (to 20kg) and an adjustable bench. The room was extremely spacious with amazing sea view. We were shocked that despite of the rain the outdoor swimming pool was on and that water's temperature was 33C. That was the highlight of our Jeju trip. Also the opening hours were long. Breakfast offered a wide range of food. I especially liked the avalone porridge. We also enjoyed bowling and karaoke room and tennis court. The bus to the airport with extremely comfortable seats. We will definately be back. There are many places to see in Seogwipo and lots of places to linger more. We had a great all day tour through Jeju Namyang Travel with Mr. Kang as our guide. He took us all over the area. He was friendly and informative and made sure to take lots of pictures of us. Jeju is a great holiday destination that caters to all.
Jeju is a great holiday destination that caters to all. We were a group of three between 29-33 years old. Great and diverse food, amazing nature, great hiking trails, amazing beaches, locals who are used to both domestic and foreign tourists (+-13.000.000 a year) and competitive ferry pricing with eg Hanil ferries which you can easily book from 30 bucks round trip. Book the third class and proceed to chill on deck and in the on board restaurant as the trip is a mere 2.5 hours. Jeju city has a lot to offer, but the city in the south is also great (Seogwepo). If you feel like dining at the beach there are a lot of niche options like beach club Vadada and born to be burger/pizza at the pool and football stadium. Summarized we did not have enough on our long weekend trip there. 10/10.Guest review byDajsamNetherlands
