Clean, fresh, cared for. Everything worked. The staff are fantastic and Niro will provide suggestions for everything including what to see and where to eat. His restaurant recommendation gave us the best meal yet in Sri Lanka which is down near the Dutch Fort in Mannar. We had the chicken fried rice, chilli beef and ghee roti. Ice cream to finish! Loved it! They also filter their own water and provide it free to stay clear of single use plastic.

If you visit Mannar, we highly reccomend staying at Enoch Guest House. Both Lalee and Suba overflow wiith warmth and happiness. You can't help but to feel warm and happy as well in their company. The home cooked food is prepared with love. You like spicy? Suba prepares a flavorful hot meal. Dont like spice much? Suba will create a beautuful mild dish. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. We had plenty of privacy and had a great night of rest when we were there. I appreciated0 learning about history of the area through Lalaas eyes. The clinic is amazing, so are the hosts. It’s a bit of a random location on Mannar Island with all points of interest about 20-30 minutes but so worth staying here a night or two. They also made us brilliant food and the room was super comfortable too.
