Everything is fantastic. The bed is cozy, AC strong. The garden, swimming pool and other facilities are superb. The staff members are extremely friendly, polite, they helped me with everything. I absolutely enjoyed my stay after I asked for AC (I made a mistake and booked a no-AC room first). You can rent a motorbike at the property to visit the ancient city. Great value for money.

Overall, I had a wonderful stay with my family, and it was an amazing experience. The full area was very calm and we were so relaxed. I was surprised really about your property and how amazing place that it was located. That made my day, honestly. I had visited your city several times and stayed in numerous hotels within your property range, but I could not find another property that gave us with the services you did. The check-in process went smoothly, and the staff were nice and accommodating. My room was very clean and comfortable. The food was delicious, and everything was really clean. The food quality was so good. Some dishes were excellent. The breakfast options were extremely good, and we had, like, enjoyed a lot. I mean, everything was better than we expected in a good way. I appreciate your efforts in making our stay enjoyable, and I hope this feedback will help you improve your services. I look forward to visiting your hotel again and experiencing all the other changes that you are planning to do in the future.

The host, Mina, is exceptionally kind. She wants all her guests to be happy, comfortable and 'well feed'!!! Her cooking is also exceptional. The accommodation is simple, in a good way. Kithmi was the highlight of our trip! It felt like home from the moment we arrived. Hemantha and his sister were amazing hosts, they helped us with every little detail of our stay and cooked delicious food. We told them we love local breakfasts and then the following mornings they cooked us hoppers and dal etc. so if you like it local make sure you say so! WiFi was excellent and AC was perfect. Room very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the monkeys! Weather was lovely in July. If you’re short on time you could do Pollonaruwa in one day. The ancient city tour in the morning 8-12 and then safari (Mineriya or Kaudulla) in the afternoon 1-6. Not too much else to do in the area aside from reading and eating good local food. Highly recommend this place and we would visit again!

The location is outstanding. The property is surrounded by the lake which is very peaceful. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, always ready to help us with anything we needed. They prepared breakfast for us earlier than usual and even gave us a parting gift.

    The hotel has an amazing pool surrounded by nature and a very good view of the Lake. We had two times the dinner and breakfast, which was very tasty. The staff was also very friendly and did a good job. The best thing at our visit was the „monkey menace“ in the evening and in the morning. You should find out by yourself:)

    The owner was so so friendly and funny and made us feel very welcomed. We really enjoyed relaxing in the pool after an exausting day in the ancient city.     Half a day was enough as the sun was out and draining. At the last stop in Polonnaruwa where you have the temple there was a young man sketching and painting. There was also an older gentleman selling Neem & Jamun tree wood containers and tumblers for keeping water in the night and drinking in the morning Neem for better all over health & Jamun for decreasing blood sugar.

    This is a far better place to stay due to the quality of the resort than in Polonnaruwa. A guest could stay here for many days as the ground are huge and relaxing. Pool and spa are kept spotless by a dedicated person that has been doing ot proudly for over 21 years.

    Amazing, smaller national park.

    Amazing, smaller national park. More of a wild, intimate experience than it's massively over subscribed cousins. We were in very close contact with a family of elephants, (including baby) for at least 20 mins before another jeep arrived, and then it was only just the two vehicles.

    The ancient city of Polonnaruwa has a lot to offer to the tourists who want to know about the history of Sri Lanka. It has so many ruins and monuments to view, and especially marvel at the stone crafting abilities of ancient Sri Lankans who have created so many buddhist states and artistic monuments by using rocks. Definitely a trip to add to your bucket list.

    Lovely national park, clean, quiet compared to other parks in Sri Lanka. Fairly priced entrance fee, guide joins you on the jeep, but optional to tip them. Ours was superb and pointed out many things we would have missed otherwise.

    The ancient ruins are a wonder to visit.

    The ancient ruins are a wonder to visit. Some great knowledgeable guides available. A few crooks about aggressively selling their Tuk Tuk and bicycle hire to be beware of. Our guide was sadly threatened and intimidated by these bullysome men.
