Our stay was great! The staff was super friendly, and the rooms well equipped. The location was perfect, only 15 min walking to Trier city. The view from the sky pool was great, although the water could be a little bit warmer, but no complaints :) Highly recommend for a relaxing holiday.

Cool place, peace, quiet, countryside atmosphere, the smell of cows 🐄 , the possibility of walking. Quiet and dark at night. In the garden you can play boule, ping pong or badminton. Although the Hotel is seemingly in the middle of nowhere, it is very close to Luxemburg and the Hackenberg bunker. Despite the small number of dishes, everything is very tasty, ice cream worth recommending.

This time the SPA crew members passed the exam and practically saved my husband's life. We will never forget what you have done. Big, big THANK YOU! I would like to also thanks to the reception people, to make it easy and help me with everything. The hotel itself was beautiful, very clean, quaiet, well equipped and comfy. Variety of SPA facility and treatments was amazing (the chocolate wrap was memorable!) Hospitality on the top level. BRASSERIE MAUS KÄTTI offer delicious food and serves you with a smile and warmth. I recommend Villa Welcome and Mondorf domaine thermal from the bottom of my heart. 💜

I arrived late on the evening of October 12, 2022 and left the car in a parking lot far from the disabled parking lot, but on the morning of October 13, 2022 I was surprised to receive a fine of 145 euros for leaving the car in a disabled parking lot. After confirming the position It turns out that the special sign for the disabled has been erased due to use and is difficult to see at night. Therefore, please inform the hotel management of placing phosphorous and stinging signalsI hope that you will contact the hotel management and ask them to pay this fine because the responsibility falls on them and Credit my account

    Echternach, if not the entire t of Luxembourg, is an...

    Echternach, if not the entire t of Luxembourg, is an underrated gem. Being English we barely heard a single country person and you are really missing out! If you love the outdoors I couldn't think of a better place to come. Public transport is entirely free and very easy to navigate with the brilliant app mobiliteit.lu. We went on trains, buses and trams entirely free the whole time. It is very easy to set off from Echternach on a bus then walk all the way back, or just do a loop then return back to base. The Mullerthal trail app again is really helpful to find out what walks are in each area - app.mullerthal.lu. But you could just walk directly from Echternach and our youth hostel. The Hostel was set on the lake. There was a climbing wall, bike hire, walks and swimming lakeside. A huge adventure playground with toilets, a Roman villa, a great restaurant - all within minutes. Two supermarkets, one close to the lake and the other in the town gave plentiful options for food. The town is very attractive and has a long pedestrian street with outstanding restaurants (if you love Sushi go to Wangs, it was out of this world). It's a simple hour trip from Luxembourg city so could be done in a day but that wouldn't do it justice. You could also get to Trier in Germany (amazing city!) in about 45 minutes if a city trip was your thing. You should go!

    Berdorf is my favorite go-to location if I wanna go on a hiking weekend. It's about a three hour drive from where I live, so very doable for a weekendtrip. The entire Echternach region in beautiful (check out the Mullerthal Trail), but the region around Berdorf is especially beautiful. The forests around Berdorf all have those typical rock formations with stairs and ladders, little chasms etc that really make it so much more interesting than a normal forest hike. The town itself is very small and is really just meant to spend the night in between two days of heavy hiking.

    We technically stayed in Orscholz, which is a smaller hamelt of Mettlach. It's right where the Saarschleife is as well as a number of biking and hiking trails. We only did the Saarschleife and the Spielplatz, but could have spent a couple days there!

    Luxembourg is so easy to get around, trams in the city are free and frequent. The train to other parts are also free and frequent, allowing you to travel to all their historic sights. It is so beautiful really capturing the blend of modern and old. Lot of parks and green spaces to relax or explore on foot or by bike. The people of Luxembourg were friendly and helpful. There were lots of food choices and prices were not over the top. Really impressed with Ettlebruck and Vianden for a day trip. Luxembourg has a lot to offer for any age group along with, families, teenagers and couples.

    Lovely city, lots of sights to see.

    Lovely city, lots of sights to see. After 3 visits we still haven't seen everything. Lots of places to have a drink in the afternoon and early evening, but bar and terraces do seem to close early. So if it's a warm summer evening and you want to have an evening drink that may be a bit of a problem.

    Great place for a short hiking/relaxing trip.

    Great place for a short hiking/relaxing trip. The paths are perfectly sign-posted and there are so many to choose from. Easy to get around, and having free public transport makes it even easier to get around.

    Mettlach is a charming small town in Germany with many good shops. The church is also impressive. There are a lot of very nice hikes easily accessible from there offering tranquility and interesting landscape alongside the river Saar, for example. Burg Montclair, the remains of a castle on the hill, is also accessible and you can get coffee and cake until the end of October.
