Everything!! Such a wonderful place to stay in Luxembourg. Host was amazing!! Amazing room in a period home. Looked after us and our bikes really well as we arrived soaking wet from rain from cycling there. Be warned there are some stairs inside. Close to the elevator connecting upper and lower city.     First of all I would like you thank you. Not only good things happened on holidays and it's very importart how professional the hotel staff are and how they react in crisis situations. This time the SPA crew members passed the exam and practically saved my husband's life. We will never forget what you have done. Big, big THANK YOU! I would like to also thanks to the reception people, to make it easy and help me with everything. The hotel itself was beautiful, very clean, quaiet, well equipped and comfy. Variety of SPA facility and treatments was amazing (the chocolate wrap was memorable!) Hospitality on the top level. BRASSERIE MAUS KÄTTI offer delicious food and serves you with a smile and warmth. I recommend Villa Welcome and Mondorf domaine thermal from the bottom of my heart. 💜

I arrived late on the evening of October 12, 2022 and left the car in a parking lot far from the disabled parking lot, but on the morning of October 13, 2022 I was surprised to receive a fine of 145 euros for leaving the car in a disabled parking lot. After confirming the position It turns out that the special sign for the disabled has been erased due to use and is difficult to see at night. Therefore, please inform the hotel management of placing phosphorous and stinging signalsI hope that you will contact the hotel management and ask them to pay this fine because the responsibility falls on them and Credit my account

    Very walkable city, there is a “High Town” & a “Low Town”, so be prepared for some hills. There is a lift joining the two. Interesting historic buildings, squares & park areas. Lots of bars &restaurants. Try the local potato pancakes, served with apple sauce & salad.

    We technically stayed in Orscholz, which is a smaller hamelt of Mettlach. It's right where the Saarschleife is as well as a number of biking and hiking trails. We only did the Saarschleife and the Spielplatz, but could have spent a couple days there!

    I only stayed 1 night, so I didn't get to really dive in to what makes Remich tick. It was a quaint little town with a large waterfront area that was fun to walk around. The food in the area was very good, but make reservations. I would try to get to see the underground wineries if we visit again.

    Luxembourg is so easy to get around, trams in the city are free and frequent. The train to other parts are also free and frequent, allowing you to travel to all their historic sights. It is so beautiful really capturing the blend of modern and old. Lot of parks and green spaces to relax or explore on foot or by bike. The people of Luxembourg were friendly and helpful. There were lots of food choices and prices were not over the top. Really impressed with Ettlebruck and Vianden for a day trip. Luxembourg has a lot to offer for any age group along with, families, teenagers and couples.

    Mettlach is a charming small town in Germany with many good shops. The church is also impressive. There are a lot of very nice hikes easily accessible from there offering tranquility and interesting landscape alongside the river Saar, for example. Burg Montclair, the remains of a castle on the hill, is also accessible and you can get coffee and cake until the end of October.

    lovely views of the city, be careful if you, like me, have a touch of vertigo as numerous high points with deep changes of level. ideal for a two day visit. If you like a few drinks then look for the happy hour places in the town as it is quite expensive for drinks otherwise. Try the local good...very nice indeed. We ate at Brasserie du Cercle was lovely.

    A quiet place with all we needed. A good place to do sightseeing, by bike, on foot, by car. Great place to be in the garden as well. Not a lot of eating places but the kitched is well equiped. You can easily cycle into Luxembourgh or France.

    This is an upscale spa where guests can go to get away from it all and get pampered in a variety of ways with excellent food and all the necessary comforts. We used it as our home base to see family and attend the Formula 1 at Spa Franchorchamps. It is totally suitable for spa activities, just staying at a wonderful hotel for other reasons, and to get away from it all.
