This was our second stay there and it was fabulous. Just so unique and tastefully renovated. Also if possible ask for a tour of the historic village and the castle itself at the guest house. Bonus hidden gem Soviet memorabilia - starting from box of matches to mopeds and cars. Thank you so much.

Ērgļi is very nice place but weather was bad, I expected to...
Ērgļi is very nice place but weather was bad, I expected to have cold snowy winter not spring in January when booked accommodation. Not much to see when everything is gray and almost no snow left on skiing slopes.
There is nice restaurant opened in old Ērgļi railway station, highly recommend.

It's a small town that's booming.
It's a small town that's booming. Locals are typical small town people - very friendly and communicative. Multiple grocery stores, gas stations and cafes. Located in hilly part of Latvia. Great location for a vacation.
