Great place and great experience here. It's a friendly and comfortable space, both inside and outside the house. Quiet cosy place. You can exit from the house directly into the garden. The garden terrace is beautifully lit by the sun in the mornings. The living room downstairs is very welcoming. Kitchen very well equipped.
Wonderful garden and surroundings of the house. Children had more than enough space to spend time outside. Tried to make friends with some of the three dogs or two cats. Kids spent long minutes watching frogs in the pond, or birds - among others, we saw nuthatches, woodpeckers. It's nice that the house is wooden. The place is a big property with three smart wooden houses - the first one belongs to the hosts. We had the house in the back, all for us four. We also had a separate entrance to the property and a separate parking spot for our car.
The host speaks very good English. Internet was enough for an online meeting with webcam.

Calm and relaxing location, amazing home made breakfast (with fresh forest berries), very kind and helpful hostess plus Turaida and Sigulda castles, walking roots, Cesis old town. Thank you, we enjoyed staying at Turaidas zieds and would definitelly recommend this place to everyone looking for homelike stay.

The view is amazing! The staff were friendly too. Also, pet friendly so our dog was not restricted to our room only. The sheets were a little wet(but its a sign that they were washed, isnt it:))))) The room was very clean, there was some tea and even some candy!!! All in all a very pleasant experience!

Simple accommodation with everything needed, located in local forest (still close to civilization). Cottage offers beds, toilet and small kitchen so you can easily stay for couple days. It's used for children camps but can accommodate families as well.

Comfortable characterful place - feels like an old forest lodge. I loved the balcony in the double room overlooking the extensive garden and the nearby lake. The hosts could not be friendlier and will share local knowledge.

I like the hotel because of its location, cleanliness and...
I like the hotel because of its location, cleanliness and customer service at the reception.
I did not like the restaurant and its staff because they do not serve enough food at the breakfast even though you pay for it. If you do not go to breakfast early, you only get some leftovers. They do not bring any additional food for missing items.

Sigulda is in the heart of Latvian history and the main sights of Turaida and Gauja National Park with Turaida, Sigulda castles and Gauja valley just a short drive or bike ride away with great natural beauty as well as historic locations from Ligatne to Valmiera.

Sigulda is a great place to overcome obstacle courses located in the treetops. In the "Mežakakais" adventure park, you will be challenged by 6 tracks with 82 obstacles of varying difficulty. On the other hand, in the largest open-air adventure park in the Baltics - Tarzāns, you will not only be able to climb 20 meters above the ground, but also go down the toboggan track. Also Bungee Sigulda is a unique place in Europe, where jumps with a bungee are taken from a CABLE CAR.
