Brand new hotel. Lovely modern decor. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in Morocco. Bed was comfortable and the shower worked well. Nice quiet AC. Friendly staff.

Beautiful hotel with direct access to the beach. We had a suite with a view over the beach and it was incredible. So beautiful! Staff very helpful. Thank you so much for Hafida (housekeeping) and Anwar. Soumia, our lovely room cleaner. She was always smiling and was very helpful. Most of the members of staff were professional, hard working, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent and very varied breakfast, with great helpful staff

All the staff were superb! The receptionist/host was incredibly helpful with many things which she solved straight away, including helping with emails for boarding passes and general advice. This was the best hotel after 3 week's travelling in Morocco and 6 towns. Fantastic views. The hotel is in the very centre, which is full of life. The rooms are fully equipped, air con, and black out curtains plus a great bathroom and very comfy beds. Breakfast is marvellous, many options available, but the almost instant freshly cooked to order omelette is a great start to the day. The La Place is a great place to stay, in a town often overlooked for a holiday. Thank you. Mr Paul

The room was immaculately clean and comfortable, with a lovely hot shower and a comfy warm bed. And the breakfast was delicious and filling. Most of all, the staff were helpful, friendly and couldn’t do enough to make the stay memorable.

This is the second time I have stayed at the hotel. This time I booked again just for the two days and extended for a further two. The staff are very friendly and always go the extra mile to accommodate customers. They looked after me. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be retuning again soon. In terms of location directly across the beach and very quiet. I like it this was as if you want to explore it’s probably a 20 minute walk down adjacent to the beach into Centre-Ville.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is perfect, it's very close to the beach and lagoon. The hotel itself is a nice cosy size, with a friendly vibe. The food was a real highlight, especially the oysters, which were some of the best I’ve had. The whole place has a great atmosphere. And the live music at night really brings it to life. It’s good quality, and adds a lot to the overall experience. The staff were really helpful.

The environment was serene, once you arrive you immediately feel relaxed. The many activities on offer was also a great addition to having a memorable stay(most of which are free). The staff are very diligent and proactive in service provision. The food at the restaurant was of good quality and very tasty! We tried Sel de Mar, George, Oasis and the the Market Place and they were all great!

where to start? the scenary is fantastic, the architecture and the interiors are stunning, the cabins are super comfortable starting from the bed and the natural plaster and floors. the guest is greeted with tea and many treats, also to mention one of the best meal in my moroccoan experience.

Ideal place for families, quiet, clean, ear highway, and 20 min from town and beach, a lot of trees and gemreen spaces, the pool is very clean. The staff is very polite and breakfast is great.

You need to be aware that the cistern is currently close (...

You need to be aware that the cistern is currently close (Nov. 2025). It doesn't seem it's going to be reopen anytime soon. El Jadida is still a nice place to explore - you can nicely combine it with a trip to Azemmour which is a small town very near - access with a shared taxi, 20 minute ride. The combo makes a very nice weekend in less touristy places.

Feels a bit like undiscovered St Tropez.

Feels a bit like undiscovered St Tropez. Beautiful, striking views, nature, bird watching. Unfortunately, the way they cooked fish at most places was not up to par for us. That's pretty much our only complaint though. And the water in April was just a tad cold for swimming. Others were swimming though.

The place we stayed had flooding issues. Although we had Moroccan speaking interactions, there was zero attempts to resolve the issue. The pool was unusable, there was NO hot tub as advertised, the tv did not work. It was unacceptable.

Contrary to other reviews, we loved the laid back and friendly vibe in El Jadida. The streets and roadside gardens were clean and neat. The Portuguese walls and village within were fabulous. Lastly, there were lots of very reasonable little restaurants.

The portuguese fortification on the seashore was spectacular.There is a wonderful beach nearby. Far less foreign tourists than other places. There were some places where garbage disposal was inadequate. It felt very safe everywhere.Busses were very crowded so we used inexpensive taxis.
