Excellent traditional building. The room was essentially two rooms and a veranda, with the second room made entirely of glass. We were thrilled. A small hotel with a warm atmosphere. This hotel is perfect for families. There are so many different pools, but the site is not huge, so everything is easy to access. There are more sunbeds than people, so never a fight to get a good spot. Plenty of umbrellas, fo those who like a bit of shade too. The food is fantastic and plenty of choice at all meal times, also alot of space and we arrived for dinner at opening time every night without a problem finding a table. The staff can't do enough for you, they are always happy to answer questions and help. The animation team are brilliant! We had the pleasure of meeting Jade on her first week, working with them, and she is absolutely going to be such a special part of the team. Jade made us feel so welcome and we hope to come back and see you again soon!! All the staff speak fantastic English, which made it a little easier for us as our Moroccan Arabic is non existent, but French is spoken widely out there aswell. Our daughter loved the water park, there are so many slides and there was never a que to get on them. Everything is kept so clean and tidy, the staff really do take care of everything. We had a room with a sliding door to a second room, with a balcony, which was perfect for our daughter to have own space. The evening entertainment is fabulous! The animation team really do put in so much hard work to make sure they put on great shows. The fire show is an absolute must!!! All round this hotel is one of our favorite pleace we have ever been, after spending many years going to Turkey, we have now fallen in love with Morocco and can't wait to come back.

From our very first night to our last, he has gone beyond and above for my two boys and I. He really made our 3 nights stay and money worth every cent. For his beautiful kindness, he showed toward us and his excellent customer service, I will definitely come back and hope he will still be working at the hotel when we do come back. Great place for holidays with kids. There are pools, football, voleyball, basketball tennis pitch, ping pong table, darts. Clean rooms and hotel area around the pools and restaurants. Friendly staff, always there to help you. Animators are full of energy, speak lots of languages with great programs for everyone. Food in restaurants is fresh and looks as good as it tastes, good for vegetarians too. The trips from the hotel were excellent, friendly agent that gives us all information and advices. We went on 3 excursions that I recommend (Waterfall, 3 Valleys, camels).

It was an amazing experience to stay at this spectacular property. The hotel is elegant without being over the top. The ambiance is fantastic and completely relaxing. The vegetation - flowering trees and bushes, the sound of running water everywhere is mesmerizing. The Riyad could not be more exquisite provided one does not have a problem managing a lot of stairs. I would love to return!

Got in and offered dinner straight away, Abdel then waited for us to book in the excursions. We had a full Hamam and spa, the ladies who are in the Hamam were so good OMG! Massage was nice with a little swim after. Got to to the room to find fruit basket (wasn’t that fresh looking) and snacks left which we wasn’t expecting so was such a sweet gesture!

We stayed in the medina and went on trips. Wife hated it. It's so manic, chaotic. She don't feel safe, even on the guided walking tour. She didn't like the constant hassle from shopkeepers if you show the slightest interest. It's disorganised - We had to wait for a trip on a dirty, noisy road with unclear instructions and they were 25 minutes late. I totally understand if people think 'what did you expect'? But, honestly, it's wearing and we won't go back.

I loved Marrakesh and enjoyed almost everything overall.

I loved Marrakesh and enjoyed almost everything overall. However, there were two things I didn’t like: 1- Shopping & Bargaining Sellers tend to start with prices that are 4–5 times higher than the actual price of an item. This means you need to spend time bargaining—you can’t simply pay and buy something. It often turns into a lengthy negotiation, and at times, even when I liked something, I didn’t buy it because I was too tired to go through the negotiation process, and I lose my patience with sellers. Also, you can’t just browse casually; sellers will approach you and try to make a sale immediately, so not the best experience. 2 - Taxi Experience Taxi drivers often try to overcharge. For example, if a ride should cost 20 MAD, they might start negotiations at 200 MAD. Because of this, I mostly chose to walk to avoid these discussions. I also heard that InDrive is not considered a legal taxi app in Morocco, but it probably should be—unless taxi drivers become more transparent and honest with pricing. Otherwise, apps like InDrive will continue to gain traction as an alternative and trusted partners.

On arrival we checked in they told us they would let us

On arrival we checked in they told us they would let us know if the room was ready! We waited two hours ordering two lattes in the meantime that definitely weren't lattes more like sugary coffee water with no milk we then went to check an they took us down there was no sun lounges on the cabin we booked which is advertised in the photos there was building work going on in the cabin behind us so we asked to get some loungers brought down so we had something to enjoy the sun in! Considering we paid £200 we waited maybe an hour before anyone came down there was cigarette butts around the pool that we had been checked into on our private room neither me nor my partner smoke so was dissapointed as we hate this. They then came down an told us to move cabin so we moved to the one in front hurrying to get our stuff back in suitcase and down to the second room forgetting some of our belongings we then go back to check if we left there an gone (someone had collected them an not informed us even though they literally moved us in the 10minute period so took some of our belongings to reception without telling us). Our new cabins half the decking had collapsed and fallen through and been covered up with a rug 3 floor boards we're sticking in the air that I tripped and hurt my ankle on. The new cabin had a bath with no bath Matt and no bath plug so it was a weird bath with a hand held shower which is difficult to wash in! We didn't really understand. The next day we had hairs in our food that we ordered I informed staff an they replaced the food I noticed another hair in the second food an couldn't be asked to complain again also the tea in the morning tasted like it had salt in! Either they didn't like us or the attention to detail really isn't there. Loooks great on Instagram an update at the view but the detail is missing things and the health an safety!

A beautiful combination of new and old, huge gaps between wealthy and poor (as all African countriees). The older part in the mountains were quaint with restaurants next to the river as far as the eye could see. Here it was very affordable to eat and it was in the outdoors. The Souks (old markets) scared me at first but people were friendly, not too pushy and even warned me that the zip of my backpack was open. I shall go back for sure.
