And the food in the restaurant is delicious, we ate there every evening of our stay, because Rabat doesn‘t have that much restaurants in the Medina to offer. From breakfast to dinner really really good. Rabat gets a poor showing in tourist guides and recommendations but I adore the place. I've been there five times now and will be going back again soon. It definitely off the main tourist trail and not overloaded with monuments but the atmosphere is very tranquil and friendly. By Moroccan standards it's clean and orderly with beautiful gardens and a great beach and shoreline with the Bouregreg separating it from its twin but much older sister town Sale with its traditional ambience and modest understated feel. Rabat is big enough to call itself a city (it is the capital after all) but friendly and homely enough to have the air of a provincial town. It is a safe place to be and prices are fixed and fair so there is no having to haggle or lohg unpleasant faces and scowls if you decide not to buy something. Rabat is very clean and smell fresh every day. The people are humble, smart and respectful. I got my food from restaurants and supermarkets. Moving around was not difficult because of so many taxis and the tram train coupled with well lit streets at night.Guest review byEdwardZimbabwe
