From the soft music when entering the suite to manicured gardens- it was simply a pleasure! Mini bar prices are absolutely fair and the wlan was fast. The furniture design is well chosen and the light filled suite offers views to both sides. The Chef of the restaurant prepared an excellent lobster for us upon request (surcharge but worth it) and one can preorder a seafood platter- for future guests to know.

AustriaThis place is simply fantastic, it's a gem on the western coast of Mauritius. I had a spacious room with direct access to the garden, the pool area and the beach. Excellent breakfast with everything you need. Karine and Jerôme are excellent hosts (beside the fact that they have a very tasty collection of spiced rums) and they made me feel at home for two days.
Albion itself is a quiet place with many locals, no large resorts, a nice beach and a couple of good restaurants.

Hotel is placed at very beautiful location, just at the beach with a view to the mountains.
It is very calm, quiet place.
All hotel employees pay big attention to the guests, being very nice and respectful. Room service is cleaning the rooms couple of times per day (also during time to close the blinds and fill in water bottle).
Food is very very good with huge selection of buffet for breakfast and dinner. It is really good quality and tasty food in unlimited amounts.
There is adult only heated infinity pool - amazing spot to enjoy the sunset, staff can bring you drinks while you are inside of the pool.
There are plenty of water sports available for free - kayaks, SUP, snorkelling, windsurfing, sailing. Staff is very helpful and supporting and can teach you a bit of those activities if it is your first time.
Compared to other hotels it is very good value and quality for money.

A very pleasant surprise. The villas are wonderful and very smart located inside the resort. Because everything was renovated a couple of years ago it all looks great. The restaurants, lobby area and the bar are very nice and provide a very relaxing atmosphere. The food is good, except for fruits and vegetables which are not very tasty (all import). The beach experience is great, with a very beautiful water and sandy beach with sunbeds located 10-15 m apart. The staff is more friendly than in other hotels on the island (mauritius people are not very friendly by default). Oliver was a great host on the beach and Minta a great concierge during our stay. The overall experience is great, the hotel provides you 2 times cleaning per day, complimentary treats on the beach and in the room and a very diverse mini bar. It is a hotel in which we can return anytime with great pleasure.

The unforgettable honey money.
Thank you to lux le morne we had the chance to live the perfect vacation, it was like a dream.
The location is amazing starting from the rooms, most of the them have a fantastic view of the ocean, the beach is amazing with crystal water and many fishes on the corals you can spot while snorkeling and cover by many palm trees, le mont le morne is visible from the hotel.
The staff is kind and pay attention to the welfare of the guests.
The food has been amazing.
The perfect place for an honey moon.
We hope to come back one day with our family, to show them where their parents have spent the honey moon.

This was a truly amazing place! We stayed in a smaller cottage (le Percheur) which was perfect for two. The view from the terrace is beautiful.
The breakfast was brought to the cottage. We ordered dinner one day and it was waiting for us in the fridge when we got back from our day activities, just for us to heat it up.
The surroundings and the little pool are also very nice.

Great hotel in an astonishing area of Mauritious. We could not have asked for a better stay, service was great super kind all the personnel. Great offer of restaurants with plenty of options to choose.
The best part is the great variety of experiences, from water sports, to hiking and sport activities.
I would definitely repeat again if coming back to the island 😊

Nice beach , lots of trips available . You really need a car or book trips if your staying any length of time as nothing much else to do . No nightlife during the week only Friday and Saturday otherwise everywhere shuts at 10pm

Tu beach is just amazing, the color of the water is impressive, in the public beach you have to possibility to see the see turtles. The place is a piece of paradise.
Definitely worth to go and to spend some time there.
I would recommend an hotel next to the le Morne beach most of the hotel do not have the possibility to eat or rent the sun bed just daily.
Also I would recommend the experience of swimming with the dolphins that is offered almost everywhere.

It's a properly rustic paradise area, away from the more fabricated hotel resorts. Lots of locals who know one another and it feels safe, if a little rough around the edges. It has its own cultural and geographical charm that seems to differentiate it from other parts of Mauritius.
Lots of places to eat, a good supermarket - seems expensive for the area, but I think this is quite common.
Good offers of boat hire to get over to Ile aux Benitiers, which is well worth it. Close proximity to the lovely Morne peninsular and Black River Gorges National Park and surrounds.

Riviere Noire is a beautiful area, with good supermarkets and restaurants although some can be very expensive. La Bonne Chute Restaurant is to be avoided at all costs. Any complaint to the manager is just discarded as she was the owner. The local beach, La Preneuse, is very near, with beautiful white sand.

this is amazing place, the view is breathtaking, the chalet is spacious, very calm, the food is satisfying and the staff is very supportive and helping.
it is ideal for a short stay as if you would like to do more tours the location is bit far from everything and very challenging to reach. the best is to stay there and visit the nearby places around Chamarel.

Albion is a Mauritian village , located on the West Coast off the beaten track & away from the tourist holiday hot spots.
There is a local palm shaded beach with toilets & changing facilities, to enjoy safe swimming & magnificent sunsets.
Food & other supplies are available at the local Albion Mall Dodo Supermarket
Living with the local Mauritians enhanced our holiday experience as we got the know some of these friendly and gentle people.
You will need a hire car and Google Maps to get around

Lovely resort. Great beach. Gets very crowded at weekends. The beach is not quite as good as some of the beaches in the north, but it is still beautiful.
Quite upseting to see the amount of litter left on the beach and traffic around the resort was sometimes an issue. But the location is great and the western sunsets are stunning!
Our favourire restaurant was Mosaic, serving typical Mauritian food alongside a standard menu with burgers, pizzas and pasta with friendly service from Daniel and team.
Casela Safari Park nearby is a good day out, and a day trip to the east to visit Iles aux Cerfs was a highlight of our stay.

La Gaulette does not have a beach and the sea there is ugly.
La Gaulette does not have a beach and the sea there is ugly. Le Morne (which is very close) is the only place nearby with a nice beach, but it is widely occupied by luxury hotels. another problem with La Gaulette is that it is not usable as a base for visiting Mauritius, becasue is far away from all main attractions except 7 color earth and Black River falls.
