Perfect from start to finish - the rooms are very comfortable, the bathrooms modern (no wet shower which is a huge plus for me!), the staff are absolutely lovely, and Lola, the manager, is exceptionally kind and provides a 6 star service throughout your stay (and even before when arranging transfers over WA). A water station is available to refill your bottle whenever you please. A short walk to the bikini beach and the hotel arranges great excursions (I saw mantas and a whale shark!). I’ll definitely be back :)

Dhangethi is a very nice island, with friendly locals, evolving tourism, and really nice accomodations. Atoll Residence Dhangethi stole our hearts. First when we saw the pictures and read the details of the profile. Second, when we got there and saw with our own eyes how lovely the place is, and how welcoming is everyone. We spent 2 weeks in a superb room. The food was simply fantastic. Assad and his team did everything they could to ensure our stay is perfect from every angle. Traditional Maldivian breakfast (Mas huni) was so delicious, would be nice add as a regular breakfast option. We cannot wait to go back! Useful: After arrival, if you have special meal request (pescatarian, vegetarian, vegan…etc), let them know, they will arrange it for you!

The Honeymoon of Our Dreams – Constance Moofushi is Absolute Magic We’ve been fortunate to travel to many beautiful places around the world, but nothing compares to our experience at Constance Moofushi. Today is our last day of our honeymoon, and to say we’re a bit gutted is an understatement. Coming in May, we were slightly nervous about the weather — but we’ve honestly had the best holiday of our lives. While May is technically the start of the wet season in the Maldives, the weather was far better than expected: around 60–70% sunny, with occasional showers and refreshing wind. Rather than detracting from the experience, the changing skies added a richness to the scenery — bringing a welcome break from the intense tropical heat. It also gave us a chance to experience the Maldives as the locals do, in all its natural beauty. The shifts in weather were truly exceptional. We stayed in a Senior Overwater Villa, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Waking up each morning to the gentle sound of the ocean, diving straight into the turquoise waters, and watching the sunset from our deck was pure magic. But what sets Moofushi apart isn’t just the scenery — it’s the heart and soul of the place: the people. From the moment we stepped off the seaplane, we were treated with genuine warmth and personal attention. The staff knew our names, our preferences, even where we liked to sit at dinner — and they remembered it all without us having to ask twice. It never felt robotic or rehearsed — just naturally thoughtful and full of care. Our room was refreshed multiple times a day, and every small touch was meaningful — from the honeymoon decorations to the smiles we were greeted with every day. The service was flawless. Whether it was chatting with the wonderful wait staff, being surprised with thoughtful gestures from housekeeping, or watching my husband play cricket with some of the staff (we’re from New Zealand, so that meant a lot!) — every moment felt special.

From the very first moment, we arrived at the airport and met the Kandolhu team until our departure. Every detail of our stay was flawlessly orchestrated to create an exceptional experience. Though we stayed for only three nights, the warmth, professionalism, and excellence of the team made it truly unforgettable. Location: The journey itself is part of the magic—just a 20-minute scenic seaplane flight followed by a short 5-10 minute boat ride that transports you to this paradise. The Island: Small, serene, and breathtakingly beautiful, Kandolhu is the epitome of a private island retreat. The Resort: Thoughtfully designed with just 30 villas, the property balances exclusivity and comfort. It offers five outstanding restaurants, a stylish bar, a well-equipped gym, a serene spa, and a sea activities center—ensuring that every guest finds their own perfect way to unwind. Our Villa: We chose an overwater villa, and it exceeded all expectations. With a private pool and direct sea access, it provided the perfect blend of luxury and tranquillity. Staff & Service: The essence of true hospitality is mastered here. The team anticipated our needs before we even realized them, creating a seamless, highly personalized experience. Their warmth and attention to detail set a new benchmark for excellence. Dining: A standing ovation to the executive chef, sous-chefs, and the entire culinary team. The food was fresh, inventive, and packed with flavour. With five distinct restaurants—offering Mexican-Peruvian, Mediterranean, Japanese, Sea Grill, and an all-day dining option—every meal was a delightful journey of taste. Spa: We had the 'couple ritual'. A sanctuary of relaxation, the spa at Kandolhu offers a truly rejuvenating experience. With expert therapists, soothing treatments, and a tranquil setting, every session feels like a retreat within a retreat—perfect for unwinding and embracing the island’s serenity. Housekeeping: Impeccable.

From the very moment you step into the Maldives, Lily Resort takes hospitality to a whole new level. Even before arrival, the hotel reaches out to arrange transfers, ensuring a seamless start to your vacation. While we initially opted for a domestic flight and speedboat (not recommended, as you lose half a day), our return by seaplane was nothing short of perfection—quick, luxurious, and topped off with a VIP car greeting at the airport. Pure bliss! From the second you land, you are treated like royalty. Greeted by the general manager, guest relations team, personal butler, and even a live music orchestra, you instantly realize you’ve arrived in paradise. The attention to detail is impeccable—your butler takes care of everything, from a buggy tour of the island to offering a refreshing cocktail and cooling face towel after your journey. Whatever you need, they are just a message away. Overwater Villa – A Slice of Heaven (10/10) Stepping into our overwater villa was like stepping into a dream come true. The room was spotless, beautifully scented, and elegantly furnished, featuring: A massive bathroom with both a jacuzzi bathtub and a luxurious shower. Thoughtfully provided amenities—toothbrushes, razors, combs, shower caps, slippers, plush robes, and endless towels. A private infinity pool with a jacuzzi, filled with perfectly warm, crystal-clear water. A unique outdoor bathroom, where you can gaze at fish while taking a shower. A super-comfy king-sized bed with the freshest linens, plus a cozy daybed ideal for lounging with premium-quality TV and music systems. A fully stocked minibar—soft drinks, alcohol, snacks, and treats, all included! A spectacular glass floor panel, giving a mesmerizing view of marine life beneath your feet, day and night. Reliable high-speed internet—no lag, perfect for video calls and streaming. Everything in the villa was designed for absolute comfort—10/10 perfection!

Our stay at Sun Island was amazing! We did stay 7 nights and did celebrate Christmas, fantastic! The Christmas dinner was unbelieveble… soooo many things to eat and drink! And the staff was so proud.. and so are we! We did stay in a watervilla for 6 nights and 1 night in a deluxe pool villa (thanks for this amazing room). The watervilla is okay, not special. The deluxe pool villa (nr. 249) was fantastic!!!! The Sun Star restaurant is good and the staff here (especially Rachel, Alam, Navin and the man who cooked pasta/meat) are so lovely and helpful. Rachel, Alam and my fiancé now did organize a romantic dinner at the beach for our engagement. It was so special! At the Christmas dinner did Alan got the best place for us with a nice view. He’s a fantastic waiter! The housekeeping is very good at the accommodations, and very lovely too. There are a lot of activities to do, for free or organized like swimming with mantas, whaleshark and turtles. It was amazing too. We saw them all! The island is very beautiful with a lot of nice beaches, restaurants/cafes and spots. The only draw back is that you’ve to pay for drinks when there are small activities (example: drinks after colour run). If you walk a few meters you can get the same drinks for free… The people at the reception are also very helpful, in special Sana. She helped us with all our questions! We want to thank the whole staff of Sun Island, it was amazing!!

Exquisite beach and water villas, amazing management team who welcomed us on arrival, walked around during breakfast and dinner and chatted with us daily and every staff member who was always friendly and supportive. We are vegetarians so was worried about the options available but at every meal at least 3 chefs would come up to us to make sure there was enough to eat, otherwise they were willing to make special meals for us. Thank you Santosh, Rasheed, Chef Siddique and Chef Madan for going out of your way to take care of us. Special thanks to Joseph for making my birthday memorable and special by booking dinner at Jing restaurant and arranging a birthday cake. The villa was cleaned twice a day and the bed turned down at night. Nafiul did an amazing job at the villa and decorating the room for my birthday. Special thanks to the management team Lucas, Sameera, Prabath, Sree Max for making this trip extra special.

The food was delicious, the staff is always nice, the island is small but private. You will enjoy the peace and quiet. We stayed in a beach villa, which has a beautiful view. I recommend numbers 17 and 18, they have the most beautiful view of the sea. Some villas have a view of the stone barrier. I recommend bringing your shoes for the sea and definitely don't forget your snorkeling masks and fins. We had half board, we didn't miss lunch. We paid for everything else only when we left, including the seaplane. We went on a trip to watch manta rays and nurse sharks ($165/2 people). Whale shark watching costs $500/2 people. There is a small shop on the island if you forget something. You don't need Maldivian money. The sand is full of shell fragments, a bit uncomfortable for your feet. In conclusion, it is a wonderful place to relax.

Surrounded by a lively and beautiful reef, offering great service, food, spa and unforgettable excursion trips(manta, turtle and whale shark snorkelling, etc )Nika was the best choice we could make in Maldives. Hard to find another resort that provides fresh smelling towels at all times :) We’ve extended our stay for 4 more days and experienced both beach villa and water villa.. Both were breathtaking. An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. We loved the Coccoa beach restaurant and the Black Anchor and the Mango House had fabulous lattes and desserts.

The most beautiful sea I have ever seen in my entire life. And mind you, I have visited many seas in many countries! For food, I recommend the restaurant at the Dhiguveli hotel and the Teapot restaurant. Getting around the island is very easy; you can reach any place quickly on foot. Don't miss going to the sandbank at one of the ends of the island.

It’s a nice local island. It’s clearly very popular, as there are at least four new hotels currently under construction. In the future, the place may lose its local atmosphere and become very touristy. The grocery shops offer only a limited selection of goods, not like what we’re used to in Europe.

It is a small enough island to walk around. The locals are extremely friendly - always saying hello. There are 3 restaurants all along the west coast. Compass seems most popular. But all are good with same offering of food. There is a fair amount of building going on at the moment as they gear up for more tourists. We used South Ari Dive for our diving trips. They are professional and friendly.

You need maximum 3 days to complete all trips, any more than that would have to be someone who loves water sports as these are the main activities in this country, anyways. Bring a mosquito or any insect repellent, you will need these after a stroll on the shores or anywhere there are plants. Also have an anti-nausea pill if you are the seasick type. Taxis have a fixed price for each location, check that out. Alcohol in the resorts is expensive but then again that's all you got. Best to pay all meals or include dinner in your package as there are almost no restaurants outside, depending on the island, and if you find one it's either a chips or coffee spots.

It was not my first time in Maldives and my experience there was disappointing compared to my previous trips in other resorts. The quality of service is poor and it’s a shame because the resort is lovely and the staff are nice but lack professionalism.

Mathiveri is a small island, with plenty of good quality accommodation and restaurants to choose from. It is one of the quieter Islands that can be accessed by speed boat, but it still offers snorkeling and diving day trips.

We enjoyed 7 days on the island. The rooms are very clean. The food is AMAZING! Everyone from staff are kind. The resort is sustainable, they try very hard to recycle and repurpose almost everything which is really nice. All inclusive is the smarter choice, trust me😄 The snorkeling is really fun! The whole island stands on coral reef and there is a lot to see! Maybe bring your own equipment, although you can rent. I don’t recommend the visit to the local island, nothing to see there We absolutely recommend

Feridhoo is an island inhabited by locals.

Feridhoo is an island inhabited by locals. They are Muslims, so respect them and wear decent clothes when walking through the village. The island has 2 restaurants with good food and fair prices, one dive base (Noohiri) and one small shop next to Shifa Lodge. We came for diving and found an abundant maritime life. There are 2 beach areas, one at the east side with the best snorkeling ground, the other at north/west side with berths for relaxing.
