- From US$924.07 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 93 reviewsIt has been a week since we've come back from paradise on Earth. The beauty of the Maldives cannot be described, but the amazing experience of staying at Dusit Thani Maldives, which was simply perfect, can. To be perfectly honest, almost everything exceeded my (very high) expectation. The resort is a beautiful jungle/garden and cycling through it is a pleasure for all the senses (especially in the evenings, when you can smell frangipani). We have stayed in one of the ocean villas. The views were simply stunning. The villa was very spacious and cosy, and even though the furniture is not brand new, it is full of drama. Plus, they have the most comfortable pillows my head had ever touched. The big highight-and what convinced us to stay in the resort-is the Thai restaurant Benjarong with it amazing chef and staff-we were usually attended by Novika (foodie as myself, so she could provide great recommendation) and James, who was also super nice and attentive. After having dinner at Benjarong the first night, we booked all of our meals there (with the exception for the night of Eid celebration, when we dined on the beach with live local music and dancing-thanks Sharif. I especial recommend the soft shell crab with curry - powder, the lamb chops, and my favourite dish in the universe-the Thai green curry. My husband fell in love with the dessert with water chestnuts and ended up eating it twice a day 🙂 (and of course I ended up taking the Thai cooking class). Another highlight for the foodies was breakfast. while the choices of "western" food, pastries is impressive, my very favourite (and I had it every single day) was the noodles station. Also, make sure you try the passion fruit jam which is to die for. You can always ask Mona (yet another, cheerful foodie) for recommendations. Moving from the food... Above the Thai 'restaurant is the Sata bar. My husband took the cocktail making class there and we met a very gifted bar attender Amita.Guest review byHeribertoFrance
- From US$640.67 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,559 reviewsGreat food and drinks served 24 hours - from international buffet breakfast at Maakanaa restaurant to Seafood / Italian ala-carte lunch or dinner at Raabondhi restaurant, to drinks at Boli Bar. Great facilities. We started our day early playing tennis, then followed with snorkelling around the house reef just in time for the turtle’s feeding time (before 8 am). There are lots of beautiful and colourful coral reef fish around the island, we saw 3 turtles and 2 baby sharks while snorkelling just in the house reef. Activities in Boli Bar is also noteworthy - from chilling by the pool, playing billiards, live bands, to DJ night - and all of that while drinks are overflowing 😉 Excellent staffs - April our Filipina Island host kept us informed of daily activities and attended to all our requests including restaurant reservations. Vinod made our beach villa clean, Himali and Akash from Raabondi restaurant, Maria who gave us private salsa class, Liani and Sita from the Spa who gave us great treatment and massage, and all the friendly staffs in Maakanaa and Boli Bar - everyone made our stay very pleasant. Transfers to/from island is bit time consuming, but forgivable considering the experience we had at the Island. All we had to do was Eat. Drink. Chill. Beach. Tennis. Sleep. Repeat.Guest review byAileenPhilippines
- From US$814.67 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 108 reviewsWe stayed on one of the those water villas with a sunset view. The place was amazing, relaxing, and breath taking all at the same time. There were small sharks and sting rays right in front of our accommodation. We went there mid of April which was towards the end of summer and it rained 2/8 days that we stayed but it was still hot. They had one of these floating breakfast right in front of our room with an amazing view of the Indian Ocean and it is where I did my marriage proposal. The place was clean and the staff were really helpful. Meals were buffet style, no pork or crustaceans as the Maldives is pre dominantly Muslim. At first we were just expecting to chill out and relax in this island but there were activities and excursions as well. Tip: If you are not really into alcohol, Half Board will do you fine. Tip: Make sure your flights in and out of the Maldives matches with your seaplane flight in and out of the smaller islands as seaplanes are not 24hrs. Tip: Bring your own snorkelling equipment, it will save you some money.Guest review byFrankUnited States
- From US$1,814.67 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 70 reviewsExceptional service. Beautiful island. Great food. This one of the best hotel I have been in my life. You start relaxing very quickly - even despite long flight and head full of thoughts brought from home. Our butler Yana did an excellent job in making sure our stay is perfect. Her sand drawings were very heartwarming. Kids club is great. I would personally add more sport activities to kids club. Especially for kids 8+. All restaurants were great, we personally liked Lagoon bar, Onu and Vakku. Italian place could be better, but it’s a common issue with Italian food in Asia. Children menu was fantastic. Breakfast was also exceptional, they even try to cook syrniki, but no successful so far. We hope this will be fixed next time we visit! :) Island itself is very green and well maintained. Snorkeling experience was above expectations.Guest review byArturRussia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 207 reviewsA great hotel for the relatively low price. It is located on a beautiful beach with a coral reef for snorkelling. You can see lots of colourful fish, turtles, rays and sharks there. The hotel's own tours are also great, for example snorkelling with the manta rays. You can also get to know the island life of the locals. The hotel staff are very friendly and help with every question. If you can manage without alcohol on holiday, then this is a great choice. You don't notice the airport.Guest review byAlexanderGermany

Guesthouse area was also good. You can use free bikes, very convenient because bikini beach is 20 minutes walk. But bikes are old, just get used to them :) We had breakfast and dinner. Dinner was exceptional as for me. Really tasty fish! If you need to buy some snacks - there is a store just around the corner.Guest review byAliaksandrBelarus
- From US$2,063.06 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 71 reviewsOverwater villas are excellent, staff is very friendly and super helpful. Food (especially Spice) is very tasty. The island and the surrounding reef is absolutely awesome. Transfer from the airport and arranging the sea plane is very smooth, no headaches, our flight was delayed, they still did everything to make sure we catch the final sea plane of the day.Guest review byMertNetherlands

Super attentive staff always welcoming you with a smile. We did a couple of excursions with them and they were great. It was by far the best hotel in our trip to Maldives. They supply beach towels every day and lovely breakfast. We tried the dinner at the beach and it was great.Guest review byNuriaSpain

We liked almost everything.
We liked almost everything. Our vacation was relaxing and beautiful. The beach was perfect, with soft almost white sand and warm, clear blue water. The bungalow was was really cozy with sun set view. Snorkeling we saw sharks, turtles, so many amazing small fishes. And they were almost near our place. We had wonderful neighbors and made new friendships.Guest review byDaniela AntonovaSpain - 10.0

Expected Dharavandoo just to be a transit island with it's airport traveling to a resort nearby. We had chosen to spend a few days in the Biosphere guesthouse. The charming guesthouse itself, the wonderfull staff and the range of activities made us extend our stay with a few days. It's the perfect startingpoint for alot of affordeable (water) activities and also the island has alot to offer (inc nice beaches, snorkling spot's, sports- and playgrounds, restaurant (Krill is recomended!),... We spent new year's eve where the islands council arranges a memorable big party for tourists and residents.Guest review byC_OutriggerBelgium - 10.0
The beach is so clean without any plastics wastes and trash.
The beach is so clean without any plastics wastes and trash. The sand bank is so beautiful and waters are coming with so amazing colors. I believe everyone traveled to Fulhadhoo was amazed by its beauty and tranquility. I do wish Fulhadhoo keeps its identity as exquisite, exclusive and pure inhabited islands open for travelers without increasing any unnecessary commercials. Just one thing for this island, the East sand band is soooo beautiful with its own serenity but I don’t understand why almost every day someone is burning rubber trash nearby which makes the sunrise time and mid-noon amazing waters time so unpleasant.Guest review by鲁西西China - 8.0

Fehendoo is beautiful but it is very remote and not much to do on the island. It is great for relaxing and having downtime. Definitely do snorkeling and scuba if you can. The fishing wasn't what I expected. It was more like going out and watching a local fisherman fish. The island is very small. You can walk it but bikes were the best way to get around. I wouldn't take small children. It would be best for a secluded adult getaway.Guest review byJasonUnited States - 10.0

Maalhos is the ultimate getaway for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Nestled in the Maldives, it offers breathtaking views that will make you want to linger forever. The island is a hidden gem, perfect for those seeking tranquility. Picture-perfect beaches stretch out before you, inviting you to unwind and soak in the natural beauty. The wild forest adds a sense of adventure, giving you the chance to explore and connect with nature in its purest form. The vibrant reef is a must-see, and it’s easily accessible right from the shore—perfect for snorkelers or anyone keen on diving into the rich marine life. What truly stands out about Maalhos, though, is the local community. The people are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to lend a helping hand. Their warmth and hospitality add a special touch that truly makes you feel at home. If you're after a peaceful escape, stunning scenery, and a welcoming community, Maalhos is the place to be. Highly recommend it for anyone seeking an idyllic, laid-back retreat!Guest review byPetya ValkovaBulgaria - 10.0

Transfer disaster, we waited 3 hours instead of 1 hour after a very long journey. The beach is protected by sandbags, pieces of which can be found everywhere in the sea and on the beach. Waste water is released into the ocean, the reef is completely destroyed. Garbage is burned on the island, so it's smoky and stinky.Guest review byFodorHungary - 10.0
A beautiful island, lovingly maintained.
A beautiful island, lovingly maintained. Despite its age, it is in very good condition, clean and comfortable. We lived in room 222 - cozy and cool. Professional and friendly staff. All issues are resolved promptly and kindly. The food is beyond praise, a real culinary show. The reefs are alive, with diverse wildlife: sharks, turtles and fish. Nice live music. Special thanks to manager Nipun for his warm and professional support.Guest review byAngelikaLuxembourg - 10.0
Amazing stay for one day after diving livaboard trip.
Amazing stay for one day after diving livaboard trip. Walking around was really relaxing as this island is QUIET! Personal highlights were playing volleyball with the locals (free court with lights, started at 9 and we went on until midnight!). Also Coral Boutique is a must visit - blue whale bones, and owner is super interesting to talk to! Don't leave the island without visiting the store! DFC for food is a must.Guest review byBogga SnrUnited Kingdom - 10.0
