The hotel is a beachfront with a spectacular view! The name of the villa speaks for itself because the sun sets in front of the villa. The food is very delicious! Breakfast is at 7-8am for $10 Lunch is at 12pm-1pm for $12 Dinner is at 6pm-7pm for $15 You have to pre-order if you want to avail because they will only prepare a set of menu. The only downside is that whatever they prepare, you have no other option. But we liked everything they cooked! It comes with a side dish, dessert, main dish, juice, and snack. At first, we were looking for other cheaper options outside, but Sunset Villa is the best option. With other restaurants, you'll have to buy everything, even water. In Sunset Villa, it's already a set meal. Other tourists who booked hotel with others even order meals from Sunset Villa. The housekeeper cleans and replenishes the toiletries without even requesting. They do it when you go out for activities. No need to worry about your valuables because they have vault. Most importantly, ALL the staff are very accommodating. Always wearing a smile. They are quiet and very friendly. P.s. You can make unlimited coffee 😉

Highly recommended! This brand-new beachfront hotel truly has the best location on the island with stunning views. The sea-view rooms are amazing, and relaxing on the balcony while watching the ocean was unforgettable. The beach is just a few steps away. I joined the excursions (sharks, sandbank, dolphins, snorkeling) and every experience was truly memorable. They even provided drone and GoPro videos — the quality was excellent and a really nice souvenir from the trip. It was a wonderful stay, and I really want to come back to this hotel!

We had a wonderful stay at Avyanna Hotel on Gulhi! The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The food was excellent—flavorful, well-seasoned, and beautifully served. Every meal felt like it was made with care. The hotel was clean, cozy, and just a short walk from the beach. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the island. We truly felt at home and appreciated the warm atmosphere. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the Maldives—we would definitely stay here again!

    The resort is 15 mins travel by boat from the airport which is very convenient. We booked for the sunset water pool villa with private pool and jacuzzi and it's just perfect. The room is neat and clean, spacious and good for snorkeling. We enjoyed the private pool, we've read some comments before that it's small but we really think it's just perfect for the size of the villa. We also had a wedding ceremony/Renewal of our vows and we couldn't be more pleased how it turned out perfectly. Thanks to all the employees who made it very memorable to us. We appreciated much all their effort. Adaaran Prestige is really the top from all the private resorts we have been to. All their employees from the spa and restaurants are very polite and friendly. (we went for a massage twice, it was very good and worth the price) Mr. Anthony is very professional. He coordinated everything well our wedding ceremony and he always makes sure that we would always get the best experience to enjoy our whole stay in the resort. Thank you so much also to our personal butler, Ajay. He is such a genuine and nice person making sure that he arranges and provides all our needs. Thank you to you and to that other lady for capturing our priceless moments during our wedding ceremony. We loved all the photos. Thank you also to the cleaner of our villa for the wonderful decoration in our villa on the day of our Wedding. He makes sure also that our villa is always neat and clean. We tried all the 3 restaurants, have less varieties but it was totally fine. It was also lovely to spend time at the bar every night after dinner and have some drinks and enjoy the music. We stayed for five days and we wanted to have more. if we ever go back to Maldives again, we would definitely choose Adaaran Prestige Vadoo again. Thank you so much again for making our whole stay enjoyable and unforgettable. We are beyond grateful for your dedication and excellent service!

    Location: perfect since it’s just Infront of bikini beach Commendation to the following individuals: 1. Angelica-she was very detailed in answering my queries prior to arrival. 2. Rizan-he welcomed me with a big smile at the airport. 3. Deepshika-was waiting for us at the jetty port and assisted me in check-in. She is very welcoming! 4. Mr. Manager at the excursion-(sorry I forgot his name) he made sure that I will get the best experience. He offered me reasonable excursion prices and he properly able to manage and arrange smoothly the excursions. 5. Aslam, Raffy and Simatte- these guys are superb! Safety first during our sharks point excursion. Their teamwork is wonderful that made the excursion fun filled and memorable one. 6. Mae- she assisted me when I asked for extension for my stay. She is excellent in providing quality service at the reception. She was able to upgrade my room for my 1-day extension in a room with a sea view. 7. Khrys- her customer relation skills is remarkable. She made sure that I will be able to enjoy Maldives more by recommending places to go after check out. 8. 4 men who’s waving goodbye at the jetty port-sad to leave arena, but I was surprised when the staff who dropped me at the speedboat were waving goodbye to us. The gesture is very appreciated. 9. Drivers- who drives safely and bring us to our destination, thank you so much! 10. Buffet waiters, servers, live cooks- thank you for making sure that the buffet is always full and clean away from flies, crows and cats! 11. Housekeeper of room 3305 and 5502- I never saw you. Thank you for cleaning my room everyday. you guys work behind the scene and you make my stay in the room comfortable. All of the staff deserve a big THANK YOU for making my first Maldives experience a memorable one. I believe I want to go back to Maldives Bec of staff who effortlessly work from their heart!     The room was very clean. We enjoyed the food in the gallery! The cooks did a fantastic job. But not only was the food excellent but also the staff! They made every dinner and breakfast something special and something to look forward to. We want to give our special thanks to the following employees: Rakesh Goli, Tanuj, Hussain, Jainam, Lohan and Kristine. It is rare to see a resort staff fulfilling their island motto as these guys did. They made us feel like we were at home and all the small gestures they did, like decorating the tables with flowers and already preparing our favourite drinks, were just unique. There was nothing we had to worry about, and they handled everything. Bandos, indeed was the island of hospitality to us! Additionally, I also would like to give a thank you to your staff at the dive Bandos! Hassan was a great instructor for the snorkelling trips. He showed excellent knowledge of the local fish species and made sure that everybody on the trip felt save, even the not-so-experienced swimmers! Thank you very much for this fantastic holiday, and a big thank you to all your staff members who made the experience so enjoyable.

The lagoon offers an unforgettable snorkeling experience, teeming with an incredible array of marine life. Our family had a really great time exploring it. The culinary options are diverse and delicious, catering to every taste. The breakfast was one of a as our best moment of the day. What truly sets Baros apart, however, is its exceptional service. Every staff member is attentive, helpful, and dedicated to providing top-notch hospitality. Our butler, Reema, was outstanding – sharing the island's history, Maldivian culture, and expertly guiding us on excursions. Fresh, quality produce with exquisite flavours and good variety for all palettes. This was a true getaway from the trials and tribulations of life where one can truly find peace and enjoy a calm tranquil holiday. Like all places service is what takes a nice hotel/resort to the next level and in this case Kudos to the Malahini team as every member of staff we interacted with was filled with smiles, a duty of care truly made us feel special.     Thank you for fast and smooth boat transfer, did’t have to wait at Male airport. Also thank you for early check-in so we could enjoy the holiday as soon as possible (this is the thing that is not usually available in hotels). We got villa 181 with beautiful sand beach and view with sea and palms. Not windy, calm & clear water. The island has about 15 beaches, explored them all by bicycle or walk. The beaches were really beautiful. Delicious food at breakfast and Rhabarbaro restaurant for dinner. Especially like breakfast buffet with choice of a la carte menu.

    We really enjoyed our stay at Hard Rock Hotel. We stayed all inclusive and only for two nights there but it was really worth the money. The staff were so kind and helful, facilities and rooms were really clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious food and drinks a lot, as well as the entertainment such as live music bands at the pool bar as well as the Hard Cafe. We also loved the fact that we were given bikes to roam around the island, which made our trips between the islands faster and more enjoyable.

Note that 1.its really close to the main airport so after long flight its great to be transferred fast&smooth 2.its connected with 2 other resorts with non stop available and free speedboats.     Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced. One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.

    One of the most beautiful places in the world. Wherever you look, you'll find postcard worthy landscape. The ocean was very clean, ideal for snorkling and apparently it was a good spot for surfing as well. All in all, a must see.

    Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there. Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.

    I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

    We LOVED Dhiffushi!

    We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!

    I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in...

    I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in the Maldives! I feel I picked a fabulous island to spend 4 days of relaxation and calmness following a busy elective healthcare placement. The island was so beautiful and peaceful. The beaches were so clean, white sands, the water was crystal clear, all sun-loungers free to use and very friendly locals and business owner stalls, businesses, and restaurants. A couple I met whilst away also got engaged on sunset beach with the most beautiful backdrop (a real must to visit during the evenings)! Plenty of places to choose from to eat - from beach bars to evening dining. I went to Juice Bench every day for lunch, the staff were so kind and smiley and the food was delicious and fresh. I also ate dinner at Indulge (10/10 pizza!), Cafe Bandaha for dinner, amazing tikka masala curry and the freshest apple juice! (Breakfast was included in my hotel - Eden Blue - which I also highly recommend!). I took two excursions with Baani Watersports - first the reef shark and stingray trip, which was absolutely amazing! The second trip was the sandbank and turtles trip, again - amazing! The team were very friendly, fun, and ensured we were looked after throughout. They took fabulous photo's of us all on their gopro which they sent to us afterwards free of charge. I also found their pricing very competitive! Getting around the island is easy peasy. I walked every day, it is quite small so can be easily lapped in around 45 minutes of strolling. People were also using mopeds and bicycles. I also received a complementary shuttle service from the ferry port to my accommodation and back which was a very welcomed bonus. Overall, the island is wonderful, the people are so lovely, and I'm SO glad I picked this island to spend my 4 days! I hope to be back one day soon - perhaps with someone next time so I have a companion in the evenings when it's a little quieter!

    It is a really peaceful island with a really nice beach. Beach has almost that resort level quality to it. Island is small, so besides water activities or some excursions, there is not much to do, so for some travelers it might get boring.

    Guraidhoo - ferry every day and easy to reach from Male, not so busy yet, not yet ugly concrete big buildings, bikini beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. White soft sand with turquoise warm water and sandy shore for fantastic swimming and walking on the sandbar - great for kids too, sunbeds and good cafe on the beach, there are corals and ship wreck for snorkeling and not to forget the shark feeding place - simply amazing to watch sharks and rays - great entertainment for the evening. There are great restaurants with fantastic prices. This island is amazing choice !

    Airport help desk doesn't know anything about Himmafushi. It was tough to manage a boat to Himmafushi from the airport. However, the beach was nice. I enjoyed the scene of small fishes near around the beach.

    We only had 4 days and picked Huraa because it is close to the airport. A very bad choice. The island is absolutely not nice, full of trash, nothing is taken care of, even the bikini beach was a huge disappointment, dirty, broken sunbeds, only 6 umbrellas. No cafes, restaurants anywhere. The only nice place on the entire island is the Pearl Sands. It is a hotel, but you can pay a daypass to use their beautiful private beach including a very a good lunch. That place saved our vacation.
