This hotel had a beautiful garden with a water fountain in the middle. And the hotel staff were so friendly and caring. We also received large packed breakfast, because we needed to drive out early.

Everything was top quality. We already knew as we had been here before and it was as wonderful as we remembered! I did not like the long flight to Namibia very much, but would go again just to stay in Okunjima!

We were amazed by the surroundings. The staff was very polite and they went out of their ways to make us feel comfortable. The game drive with Johan was very instructive and we saw a lioness, a cheetah and a guepard. Johan is very fond of his animals and the wildlife. Food was very good as well. Not to forget about Peanut 😊

Our stay at Frans Indongo Lodge was truly a pleasure from start to finish. What stood out most was the staff—they were exceptional. Every single person we interacted with was kind, professional, and genuinely attentive. You could feel they took pride in their work and cared about making guests feel welcome. Their warm smiles and helpful attitude added so much to the experience. The lodge itself is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. It's surrounded by the lodge’s private game farm, so you can see wild animals roaming freely nearby—an incredible bonus that makes the setting even more special. We had to postpone our arrival time several times and finally arrived very late. The owner was very understanding and showed us everything when we arrived in the dark. The place is great! Very clean, modern and with everything you need. Since it was dark, the light in the campsite was especially great. We were also recommended to hike up the rock, which was a great experience. From up there, we had a nice 360 degrees view. On your way to Etosha or when in the area, this is the place to go.
