It was an unexpected change of plans which turned out perfectly. The owner of this hotel is super interesting person, the place itself is nice and clean, the internet was more than enough to get my work done, and the co-travellers I met over there are people I am still in touch with. Close to airport. $10 taxi ride. Very clean and very comfortable beds. Air con in the bedroom was just what we needed. Nice outdoor area for a typical Nicaraguan breakfast.

Best beachfront in the area, better than nearby resort by a long shot. Friendly staff, ice cold beers right next door. Basic accommodations, nothing fancy but more than adequate for our needs. Everyone loved it.

love the city, if you have never visited, I recommend taxi...

love the city, if you have never visited, I recommend taxi service, there is no Uber here. Also the food is great and the value way better than other places. I hired a cab driver for all my trips and he was OK with me texting him for pick ups and drop offs at the last minute. Not every cab driver has the flexibility. I also visited other cities for day trips.
