United KingdomBeautiful location and well equipped chalet. The interior is very cosy and stylish and even with some terrible weather, we still found it a lovely place to relax. Very handy to have the EV charging point to use at the accommodation. Would definitely recommend trying the floating Sauna at the Gaustablikk hotel as well as their pizza restaurant Stova and the bakery. Couldn't have asked for a more peaceful place to recuperate after Norseman!

SwedenThe property had easy access, dedicated parking facilities, laundry room to use, good heated storage for ski gear, easy instructions on how to enter the property. We opted for linens which were a good quality and very clean, the apartment itself was clean and well stocked (toilet paper/kitchen roll/general cleaning equipment). The layout and design was also perfect for this kind of stay - big windows to let in a lot of light, yet simple minimalistic wood finishings which were very functional! I also had some issues with the original booking (my personal mistake) but reached out via email and received a very prompt and courteous response! Altogether it ticked all the boxes!

PolandA very beautiful place on the mountain with an incredible view, especially at night. Another big plus is that you can check in even after 22:00.
The apartment is very spacious, stylish, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Just note that you must bring your own bed linen and towels — they are not provided. Also, be prepared to walk about 15 minutes to get the key for the barrier, and you’ll need to repeat the same procedure when leaving: pick up the key, open the barrier, and return the key.
Overall, everything was great 👍🏻 We recommend it!

Location of the place was perfect for the purpose of the trip: visiting the Gsustatopp, great experience for all the family with the possibility to reach the top with Gaustabanen, the view from the top was just greit! The accommodation offered a very good breakfast as well! Really recommended.

Rjukan as a town has a fascinating history.
Rjukan as a town has a fascinating history. However the reason we come is to ice climb. Obviously, this is a niche attraction and Ice climbers will know why Rjukan. However, the history and beauty plus accessibility of venues is world class for this activity.
Beyond the climbing, Rjukan is an interesting town with all the main amenities one could need as a base for exploring the amazing countryside in which it sits.

We came from Sweden for a extended weekend and wanted to get 2 full days of skiing, which we did! The ski slopes are a good mix of easy and gentle to a little more challenging, yet all fun and well maintained. All the operating staff were very helpful and pleasant. The resort is small in terms of amenities (only a few restaurants and bars - but all of good standard!) but more than enough for a cosy stay!
It has a very relaxed atmosphere and very picturesque location. A lot of cross- country facilities and possibilities to explore the winter outdoors. Highly recommend for a families and individuals alike who come for the outdoors!
The only downside is depending on where you are staying you may need a car to get around. There are few walkways unless you are on skies so for those that don't ski you have to stay close to the lodge or have a cosy cabin where you plan to spend a lot of time.

A beautiful place to visit and have a look around.
A few nice places you could eat, I tried the little restaurant next to where I stayed at Hytteby.
The town is easy to get around as there is mostly one street that goes all the way through.
The fact that Norways oldest cablecart (krossbannen) was there was really nice and I did take a trip up and the view was amazing.

Great place for a long weekend, sadly this time the snow conditions were a bit poor, with very little snow and very windy. They should consider increasing the number of "elbil" charging stations across the location, given the increase of the "elbil" car park in Norway.
