Staff messaged me on WhatsApp shortly after booking to arrange a free pick up from the bus station. On arrival myself and another guest got a free guided tour around the village and into the national park where we saw wild rhinos, monkeys and deers. I booked the jeep safari, canoe trip and the one day trekking. I recommend the trekking as we saw more wild rhinos then the jeep safari. The staff are very attentive who will look after you and have a budget list of all the different activities available. I ended up having all my meals at the restaurant as they were very tasty. The hotel is located about a ten minute walk from the main high street so is nice and peaceful in the evening. On departing the staff organised my bus ticket and I got a free drop off at the bus station.

We had a wonderful stay in the Aikawa Hotel! All the people of the staff are very friendly and treated us very well. We loved the service all the time (bus terminal pickup, tour organisation, food, help with questions). We also did two tours with the friendly guide Raj. He gave us a lot of informations about the Chitwan Nationalpark and did a very good job by spooting animals in the wild. We saw a lot of Rhinos, deers, birds, crocodiles. We can recommend to book the tours in directly in the hotel! The breakfast and the food in the lunch and dinnertime was delishes. Best food on our Nepal stay so far. For all the guests in future: Stay in this hotel to make your stay unforgettable. We will come back!

The hotel is nearby the river and a few min walk from the main street. There is a beautiful garden to relax and have your breakfast before tge safari trip which the owner Sunil can book. I was not feeling well when I arrived and they looked after me so well. Amazing, warm and helpful people with great knowledge. Sunil welcomes you with a beautiful smile and makes sure you are enjoying your time in Sauraha and Chitwan. I highly recommend the place!

Super best hot shower with remarkably big rooms and bathroom too. I highly recommend staying at Jungle Safari Resort. Indeed this was a return visit having had a fantastic stay last year. Manager Sangam liaised with me before booking to plan a perfect itinerary. The hotel has very comfy large rooms set in an idyllic garden. Perfect location. The food is delicious, including packed lunches for our day safaris. Sangam, Sujan and all the staff were kind and paid attention to detail, such as providing a cold drink and fresh fruit when I arrived back after a hot day on safari. My jungle guide Gopal was excellent and full of information. He had guided me before and I specifically asked for him again. The accompanying guides Ram and Som were also excellent. I recommend doing both a jungle walk and a jeep safari to see the jungle in different ways. Definitely recommend you stay here and speak with manager Sangham in advance to book your safaris. He also arranged my travel from Kathmandu to Chitwan and then from Chitwan to Pokhara which was a great help.

I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff and the setting at Chitwan Village Resort. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and we had a patio overlooking the beautiful garden area. The food was amazing and affordable, and the tour guide Suris was very thoughtful and conscientious. Raj, the manager, went above and beyond when I accidentally left my passport behind in the room. He quickly arranged to have it shipped to my hotel in Kathmandu with a private driver. I am forever grateful!

We spent two nights here in a beautiful setting – highly recommended to everyone! Everything was clean, peaceful, and calm. Despite our delay, the owner waited for us until midnight, helped us with the check-in, and arranged everything we needed for the trek and our visit to the national park. The only reason to stay in Chitwan is to visit the national...

The only reason to stay in Chitwan is to visit the national park, however, you can easily be ripped off by local guides and tour operators. Just shop around and remember that Jeep Safaris are a rip off because chanches of seeing any wild animal are extremely slim andyou end up spending 4 boring hours getting around the park. Make sure you know all options and talk to locals and tourist to find the best tour. I also recommend to visit the Tharu people site and see their dances, which is the best experience I had in this place

The location maps they point to are incorrect. It took me in the opposite direction. Even the mobile they provide is incorrect. I complained to the front desk staff to correct immediately so that the other client won't be misguided.

We had such an awesome visit to Chitwan, made even better by...

We had such an awesome visit to Chitwan, made even better by our stay at this hotel. Such friendly and helpful service throughout. We organised all our safaris through the hotel (which included lunch) if it was a full day, this was very handy. Often we’d be tired after the long day out on safari (lucky enough to see lots of beautiful birds and rhinos). Facilities were good, bed very comfortable and nice hot shower. We ate a lot at the hotel which was very tasty. Fresh produce! Most guests seem to be getting involved with the safaris so are up early this can mean it can be a bit noisy in the mornings, which didn’t phase us.

Make sure you visit the animal friendly project Stand Up 4 elephants! It’s free and you meet two rescue elephants ladies :) We did a full day jeep safari and a half day jungle walk+canoeing. We were lucky and saw a bear, a bison, wild elephants and rhinos. Lots of colourful birds, crocodiles, monkeys etc. but you need luck to see the big animals. It’s sad that it is allowed to ride elephants in the Nationalpark what is an absolutely animal crime and the idea of a Nationalpark is to protect animals and nature. Also, to make more money, they let start five jeeps with one or two guests in it instead of putting them together. So they need to make more efforts and be more eco friendly. It worth a visit when you are already in the country and have time. But two days are enough.

Gateway to safari’s either on foot or via Jeep. It township its self is a developing thriving hub with many restaurants, bars, tour / safari guide shopfronts. The riverside is peaceful with numerous animal sightings all day.

It was my second visit to Chitwan.

It was my second visit to Chitwan. I'll be returning again soon, to see more of what I haven't seen yet. I've, the crocodile breeding centre and the elephants. Plenty of places to choose from for meals. Easy to walk around the town, apart from where the streets are being improved. Plus, even when many tourists there, it doesn't seem crowded. Pleasant weather during my time there. Plus, I managed to see several football World Cup games, at different bars/restaurants.
