- From US$919.13 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 86 reviewsWe recently had the extraordinary pleasure of returning to Dwarika's Hotel Dhulikel for the second time, and we can hardly find words to express just how incredibly wonderful our experience was. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of freshness and delicateness that we had never encountered before. The farm-based foods they offer are nothing short of a culinary revelation, bursting with flavors that can only come from the most genuine and natural sources. However, what truly sets Dwarika's Hotel Dhulikel apart is the people. From the very first interaction, we felt like a part of their family royalty. The staff's warmth and genuine desire to make every aspect of our stay perfect was simply heartwarming. Pramesh and Suman deserve special mention for going above and beyond to ensure that our time there was not only memorable but truly unforgettable. Their kindness, attention to detail, and willingness to make every moment special made us feel like cherished guests. The facilities at the hotel are beyond . Every corner is adorned with thoughtful details that reflect a deep commitment to providing an exceptional experience. The little presents left in our room and the careful attention paid to our preferences without us even needing to ask were small touches that made a huge difference. The range of spiritual and creative cultural activities they offer added another layer of enrichment to our stay, allowing us to connect with the essence of Nepal on a profound level.Having traveled to more than 30 countries and experienced luxury accommodations from renowned brands like Jumeirah, Hilton, and Six Senses, we can confidently say that Dwarika's Hotel Dhulikel outshines them all. Dwarika's Hotel Dhulikel, you have turned Nepal into one of our favorite destinations for exactly these reasons.Guest review byKamaFrance

The garden is quiet, the rooms are comfortable, and the atmosphere invites both focus and rest. It’s simply a place where you feel good. The staff are kind, discreet, and always available if needed. It’s the kind of place I’d love to come back to, to write, to breathe, or just to slow down.Guest review byGaëlleFrance

On the first day of Kathmandu in the city bus I was stolen money from my poshest. Until that time I had thought that Nepali were honest and diligent. So that I didn’t pay attention to things like having my money stolen on the bus. On the last day the airport was closed because of the strike, so I had to reschedule my ticket and stay in hotel one night more The city is so dusty and lots of rubbish. However, I like the old cultural constructions and festivals.Guest review byChihokuJapan - 4.0

In Nepal, both inDrive and regular taxi drivers can be tricky. They often charge more than double the normal price. With inDrive, after you receive a booking, they may call and ask for extra charges. If you repeatedly cancel bookings because you’re not comfortable, inDrive may even restrict your account. This caused a lot of trouble for us. I just want to remind everyone to be careful with taxi drivers and always make sure the cost or fare is clearly agreed upon beforehand.Guest review byAnonymousMalaysia - 10.0
"Staying in Patan was like living inside a museum.
"Staying in Patan was like living inside a museum. The blend of ancient temples, artisan workshops, and cozy cafes made every walk special. Patan Durbar Square is breathtaking, especially in the early morning light. It’s less crowded than Kathmandu, yet full of life and charm. A must-visitGuest review byumit - 10.0
Bhaktapur – A Timeless Heritage Gem!
Bhaktapur – A Timeless Heritage Gem! Bhaktapur is an absolute must-visit for anyone traveling to Nepal. This ancient city is like stepping into a living museum, with its well-preserved temples, intricate wood carvings, and stunning courtyards. The Durbar Square is a highlight, showcasing breathtaking architecture and rich history. Walking through the narrow alleys, you’ll find traditional pottery, local crafts, and delicious Newari cuisine—don’t miss the famous Juju Dhau (King Curd)! Unlike the hustle of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur offers a peaceful and immersive experience, making it perfect for history lovers and culture enthusiasts. The city's charm, warmth, and timeless beauty make it one of Nepal’s best destinations. Highly recommended!Guest review byAnandNepal - 10.0

Dhulikhel is a town located in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal. It is situated about 30 kilometers east of the capital city, Kathmandu, and lies at an altitude of 1,550 meters above sea level. Dhulikhel is a popular tourist destination known for its scenic beauty, cultural heritage, and panoramic views of the Himalayas. The town has a rich history that dates back to ancient times. It was an important trading post on the trade route between Tibet and Kathmandu Valley. Dhulikhel served as a rest stop for traders and pilgrims traveling between the two regions. One of the main attractions of Dhulikhel is its breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountain range, including prominent peaks like Ganesh Himal, Langtang, and Dorje Lakpa. On a clear day, visitors can witness stunning sunrise and sunset views over the snow-capped mountains. Dhulikhel is also known for its well-preserved Newari architecture. You have to say No!
You have to say No! Everyone wants you to buy from them but they are used to being rejected. There are some people wanting to talk to you, often wanting to show you their workplaces etc so they can lure you in to buy their wares. Conversations always start with Hello sir/madam. Which country are you from? However, lovely people and a lo ely place, full of history and religious beliefs.Guest review byColinNew Zealand - 8.0

Nagarkot , lovely place to stay there, neighbours and villagers are very friendly, safe and secure. In every morning or evening, we walk around Nagarkot village to Nagarkot sunrise tower through pine tree forest. It has good viewpoints to snowcaps of Hamalia range, sunrise, sunset and community villages in valleys. In Nagarkot, we can have fresh meat, chicken, egg and milks all are fresh and tasty. There are a lot of restaurants nearby Nagarkot but enjoy cooking fresh meals , breathing fresh breeze, so nice of community life there. In some day , visit to Bhaktapur Durbar square by bus, and can go to several sites as day trip. Good to learn Tamang culture. For us, at least we want to stay at least 7 days but we found very late so we can only stay 4 nights. We will definitely come back NagarkotGuest review byMyo - 10.0

It is less filled with tourists than Kathmandu or Thamel and seems to me more authentic. The Durbar square is amazing, as well as the small local temples and stupas. You can find delicious food everywhere, whatever you want, and people are very nice. You can get around on foot, but if you want to go to Kathmandu itself or to Bhaktapur, you can take a car via the Indrive app.Guest review byJuciFrance
