This House is a gem. You wake up with the sunshine flooding your bedroom and you can watch the sunset in front of the house. The kitchen is fully equipped,  you can cook,  if you want.  But we accepted the offer from Sultan, the owner, to provide us with breakfast and dinner and were happy with this service. Sultan has been trying to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The house was very clean and we did not miss anything. The house does not provide WiFi, but we enjoyed excellent 5G connectivity with a SIM card from Omantel (bought at the airport). We also accepted the offer from Hameed, Sultans brother, to drive us around in his Landcruiser. So we where able to see the Wadi Guhl, which is a exceptional experience. Hameed is a skilled driver and he knows the area very well. He fulfilled all our wishes for fotostops or walks, it was a pleasure to have him as a driver.  The track to the house is a bit rough,  if you come with a sedan, be a bit careful. But the road to the  canyon is Mode bumpy, I definitely recommed a car with some clearence.

The host was incredibly kind and always available to help with anything we needed, which made us feel truly welcome. The house itself is perfectly located, just a short distance from Jabel Shams and the famous Balcony Walk—a fantastic base for exploring the area. A special mention goes to Homeed, who is an exceptional local guide. He took us on an amazing 4x4 tour of the canyon, sharing his knowledge and passion for the region. The experience was absolutely breathtaking, and his prices were very reasonable. I strongly recommend Jabel Shams Bayt Kawakib to anyone looking for a warm, well-located place to stay and an authentic adventure in the area. Would definitely return!

The house of Homeed is a great spot where one can unwind and relax in the silence of the beautiful Jebel Shams and enjoy the wonders of the sky from a marvellous sunset to the night sky full of stars. The rooms are comfortable elegant and clean. Homeed and his family are great hosts and under request they offer a delicious barbecue cooked on bonfire. Homeed also offers beautiful guided excursions; the top of Jebel Shams and the view of the canyon, walk along the the Balcony Walk and my personal favorite: the morning crossing down Wadi Ghul on order to arrive to Wadi Nakhr and bathe in the crystal clear waters of Wadi Nakhr Cave also named the Teapot. If you decide to stay at Jebel Shams Hills you won’t regret it you’ll merely enjoy a warm welcome into this beautiful region.

Great location, not only fantastic view but also good base for Jebel Shams if you like to go morning. If you don't drive 4x4, Salman (the host) can take you there. We also liked home-made dinner and breakfast. View for sunrise and sunset.

Everything from Location to service was spot on. special mention Of Mr Zafar who was welcoming who made the checkin smooth. since we were travelling with 2 kids we were given a free upgrade. they have a play area for kids. Breakfast and Dinner was delicious and Restaurant ambiance was cozy. definitely staying there again. overall 10/10.
