The domes are very close to the Balcony Walk, which was great. The host was very helpful and the domes have everything you need! They make a little campfire for you if you want!

Ali, Alia and their kids were very nice hosts. We ordered dinner and breakfast, which were served in their house behind the appartment in Omani style and were delicious. The guest house is stylish, comfortable with breathtaking view over the canyon. We did the balcony walk right after our afternoon arrival when most hikers were already returning. There was already shadow on the trail, which was great for the walking comfort but a little complication for photography.

This was an unexpected gem, in an unlikely location. You cannot beat it for location, at the start of the Balcony Walk in Jebel Shams. Mohammed the owner organised for his neighbour Ali (and his wife) to cook dinner and breakfast for us. The food was delicious! The house itself is very comfortable and well kitted out, even if you want to self-cater. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A good location for a stress-free stay in Sa‘ab Banī Khamīs, Jabal Shams Villa is a country house surrounded by views of the garden.

We were warmly welcomed by Ali and Amjad. The property was very clean and comfortable. There is a well-equiped kitchen. Bring sufficient food as the nearest shops are a 30 minute drive away. The road is very winding and night driving wouldn’t be advised. The guest house is a convenient 40 minute drive to the W6 Balcony Canyon Walk.
