The dome concept was something we were drawn to, and it did not disappoint! The room was very big and clean, and both owner and staff were very helpful and kind. The accommodation is located high up in the mountain, therefore the night sky was very nice to watch as we could see a lot of stars, something that is quite rare when you live in the city. If we were to visit Oman again, we would surely book another night!

The resort was perfect for the two night stay in the mountains. It is a perfectly well located hotel to reach out the two main hikes in the region: Balcony walk (W6) and Jabal Shams summit walk (W4). Accessible with a normal car, but you have to be a confident driver and drive slow. Breakfast and dinner were very decent given we were only a few guests staying in the hotel. Thanks to that we enjoyed a free upgrade. Views from the hotel over the mountains were spectacular, especially during sunrise/sunset.

Stunning scenery and our stay was made by the amazing Ram who is the Nepali man who runs the place single handed. His endless smile, great simple food and hospitality makes this place what it is. The location was amazing as it is right at the beginning of the Balcony trail. Our host was very sincere, he was waiting for us and gave us a tour, made coffee and served dates. He had a lot of stories and history of the area to share which made the stay much more personable. His family were able to prepare a dinner for us that was delicious. We woke up to a beautiful sunrise. There is an outdoor kitchen that had all that you could need to prepare a meal. The heater worked great as it cooled off quite a bit at night. The rooms were comfortable and spacious.
