"The hotel itself is beautiful. The room was very clean. There are many restaurants and bars, so if you don't want to go out, everything is available inside. The Edge Bar was amazing, and the view was also nice. The staff there are all amazing. There's a restaurant buffet with a different menu every night. We stayed there for seven days and had breakfast every day. The only thing that bothered us a little was that sometimes I think they just refried some of the food in the restaurants, especially the hash browns. One morning, I ordered an omelet that never came, and the second day, it took 20 minutes to arrive. Also, one night at the seafood buffet, a lady named May at the fish booth was a little rude to us and gave us attitude. If they don't want us to order certain items, like lobster or fish, they should put up a sign indicating a limit, such as one per person or one or two per table. But a buffet is a buffet. There were four of us at the table, and our husbands had already ordered a lobster each. So, when my friend and I went to order another lobster for ourselves, May told us, 'Oh, that table already ordered the same thing.' It felt like she didn't want us to order for ourselves, so we just left."

Excellent location on the water next to the Souq entrance with a great view from the rooftop and a popular cafe in the same building. Reception staff were so welcoming and helped me with the paid parking pass (you pay a small amount to be registered on an official site per 24 hours - I did see this being enforced, plates were being scanned around the Souq lots). Rooms are very modern with plenty of different lighting options and sockets for charging. Would absolutely stay here again!

The reception at the hotel was very warm and friendly. Our request for a shared bed was granted. The room was clean and big enough for us. We could park our car directly in the car park in front of the hotel. Breakfast was served in an adjacent building. It was a bit fresh there, but the tasty selection and a hot coffee made us overlook this. On the first evening, we also ate the iftar. Here, too, there were many delicious and fresh dishes. The staff were always very courteous and helpful. As it was Ramadan, the bar on the top floor was closed. But from there you certainly have a beautiful view over the city.

The location is perfect everything you want is near you, they do clean everyday, they provide you water each time they clean the room, fast wifi and the receptionist she was really good we told her that the AC wasn’t working well and then she gave us a larger room thank you so much.

Very impressed with our first visit to Muscat and Oman.

Very impressed with our first visit to Muscat and Oman. Good hotels at good value and great food at great value. We rented a car from NAB rentacar which was delivered to the hotel. Didn't use taxis. Bought a SIM card from Omantel at the airport for use with our portable wi-fi router so we could navigate around ourselves. If you want a spectacular world class, 4x4 low range track up to Jebel Shams get the gps track from Wikiloc - Rustaq to Shams. Not for the fainthearted! Our Mitsubishi Montero Sport on worn factory tyres managed easily.

First day couldn't find a place to have breakfast in and we ended up searching for a mall and eventually having sandwiches at Starbucks No facilities for fun or family activities No decent restaurant but at malls and mostly expensive No facilities on beaches and the one in the most expensive compound Almouj is a clean beach but no showers or changing rooms or lounges

PERFECT EXPERIENCE ... will stay again First of all Mohamed property owner is the nicest person I have met, he picked me from airport and dropped me at the airport. from the time of booking he gets in touch with me on whatsapp. Property is 5 mins drive from airport best location possible. Room very clean, nice and tidy, had everything in it required for nice stay. I would recommend 100% this property and especially Mohamed. I will definitely stay again if I get chance. thanks. Everything was good. NO issues at all. very good communication.

Muscat is more authentic than places like Dubai and Qatar, and a lot more laid back. It isn't expensive (its a lot cheaper than Dubai) and there is a lot to do. The main mosque is very impressive and the day trips to the islands for snorkelling are good. The main souq is also very good

1) All the staff were most helpfull, however the language barrier caused a minor hic-cup with the room service when ordering from the menu in my room. Staff took it upon themselves to ad-lib with food subsitutions from the set breakfast menu, without informing the customers. It was eventually sorted out. 2) The water pressure in the shower was very low, could do with improvement. 3) The swimming pool was not available for use untill May 2024. Other than those 3 issues the hotel represents value for money. I would stay again, but make sure the swimming pool was available for use.

The country offers variety of attractions, landscapes and...

The country offers variety of attractions, landscapes and community. Each place is unique and captivating. The citizens are inviting and non-judgmental. They are willing to chat with you and give you tips on where to visit and where to eat etc. I NEVER VISITED A COUNTRY THAT SMELLS SO GREAT. Oman has a unique smell of oud fragrance from the airport into the streets, malls, hotels. It is a more relaxing Middle East compare to Dubai and other countries.

Seeb is far away (over 20 km) from city center.

Seeb is far away (over 20 km) from city center. Nothing to see there. So not many tourists there. But it is developing. Quiet long beach but no infrastructure. You need car to get to the center! There is a lively street food market in the night where you can get great food for low price.
