We absolutely enjoyed our stay where the rooms are in fact standalone bungalows, while guests enjoy the access to the shared garden and open-air living room allowing the full immersion in a tropical climate. The decor was very catchy and stylish, while the apartment was clean and had all the promised amenities. The host was extremely responsive and accomodative.

Location was amazing, also the facilities were super clean and everything of high quality. Also the surf shop and surf lessons provided right next to the restaurant were perfect. A big highlight was also the outdoor crossfit station for doing workouts - amazing!

Definitely worth a visit.

Definitely worth a visit. Off the beaten path, but great waves for surfing and excellent food and restaurants. If you want a break from the surf beach La Playita resort (just over the hill/down the road from town) has a protected cove with crystal clear waters and white powder sand. Best of both worlds.

Beds and shower worked well. Nothing nearby to walk to. I felt overly confined. WORST was the quality of the air in the room. No matter how much you used the AC the room always humid and very musty smelling. Possible mold and mildew issues. The more we were in the room the more conjested we were. Mornings were horrible. JUST NOT HEALTHY. Discussing with front desk was like talking to a wall. Could it be due to cutting in a rock wall to build the Hotel causing water table issues? Maybe no use of AC filters? Hotel likely to make more money by spending a little on Quality standars. Roach problem starting up, Staff was nice and willing to help, Could use more English speakers. SECOND was how poorly breakfast food was prepared. Eggs too cold to eat. Meat was very cold and salted ten times over. Coffee was the best thing. Orange was of institutional quality with way too much sugar blended back in.

Lots of fun things to do without lots of driving.

Lots of fun things to do without lots of driving. Venado beach is fantastic. Coucoucrazy good craft beer, great food. Local expats are friendly and share information freely. The bad, rental homes still quite expensive (we checked out Pedasi two years ago and rents have not come down).

Gorgeous little hotel at the far end of a beautiful peaceful beach. Restaurants in walking/driving distance but the hosts also can prepare delicious food for a great price. Comfortable and spacious room, beautiful view. All in all, a great place to stay- I didn’t want to leave!

Nice room but furniture a bit outdated. Lovely pool area with infinity pool and great ocean views. Nice bar and restaurant with super friendly staff. In general terms, there is quite some overdue maintenance.
