The staff was really great! Super friendly and helpful. Really cozy hotel. Not just the room but there are hangout areas outside the rooms that are very nice to sit in and have a cup of tea. Close to everything in Cusco. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast. If you are going out early you can get a breakfast to go in a bag. Good AC. Good wifi.

The staff at this hostel (including Elvira, Diana, and Liz) were kind, friendly, and so helpful! The hostel itself is lovely, and they planned many fun free/low cost activities like a salsa/bachata class and a pisco sour making class. There are many relaxed social spaces throughout the hostel to make new friends, and the private room was very cozy and comfortable. The location is great and very central to main tourist attractions in Cusco.

Set in a pretty little courtyard away from the road, so very quiet. The best hot shower we’ve had in Peru, and a night time heater ) 1st time we’ve had heating in a hotel) Lovely friendly staff, especially the evening receptionist. Very nice , made to order breakfast, with pretty decent coffee ( quite rare in Peru hotels). The manager was very helpful and let us leave our bags 5 days in advance of our stay whilst we went on the Salkantay Trek. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel

We really enjoyed this beautiful hotel. We had a beautiful colonial style room with very comfortable beds. The hotel grounds are also very beautifully organized. The breakfast was delicious, we even ate local exotic fruits. The hotel staff is beyond praise. We were very helped during 4 days by the manager Marina Romero in organizing many of our requests. We especially enjoyed the massages done by Yuddina and Kristina in the spa salon. They are incredibly talented masseuses! A huge thank you to them for the fact that we received true relaxation after a busy active day. We recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to spend a luxurious time in Sacred Valley.

A brilliant hotel in the very heart of Cusco. It is not on the cheap side but the value for money ratio is excellent. The room was very comfortable, spacious, the bathroom is fantastic, it is equipped with a massage shower. The only issue is that, although understandable due to the low season and very few guests, there was no buffet breakfast and we had to wait (for us) quite a long time for the most basic things like bread and butter and coffee. I am sure that this will be different in the high season. We would definitely go back to this hotel if we were to go to Cusco again. The staff are amazing.

Amazing hotel at the very center of Cusco. The building is a historical colonial house with a central patio. The rooms are modern, spacious and very well decorated. Big beds. Oxygen in rooms is available in case you may need it. The staff are super friendly, eager to please and ready to help. Buffet breakfast is excellent and very abundant. Special mention to Soraida and Fernando there. An experience not to miss.

Cusco, with its surroundings, is a wonderful city.

Cusco, with its surroundings, is a wonderful city. I liked the buildings, the food, and the people, who appeared to be very civilized. In the old town you can see many layers of history, from pre-Inka to Inka to colonial to modern. In this respect, it is kind of like Rome. The city is very walkable. You also have the opportunity to make day-trips to Machu Pichu, Rainbow Mountain, and many other places. The only downside that I can think of is, that trips with a car tend to take rather long time. I will go to Cusco againd and warmly recommend it.

Pisac is a great place to acclimatize if you are coming into the highlands from Lima or Amazon basin. It is charming small town with lots of historical interest. Archeological Pisak is well worth spending some time on. If you are looking to acclimatize to higher altitudes, Pisak is a better starting point that Cusco because the altitude is about 1500 ft lower and it is closer to Sacred Valley attractions.

Cusco is definitely a place to visit when in Peru.

Cusco is definitely a place to visit when in Peru. Not all hotels are equals, so you have to be careful choosing a place depending on your taste for comfort. Cusco offers great opportunities for visits within or around the city. We had a great food experience at the Irish bar with the view on Plaza de Armas. Too bad that there is a strictly enforced prohibition of taking pictures (even without flash) within the cathedral and most of the churches. City Tours in buses are not worth the price.

Great small town on the way to Machu Picchu.

Great small town on the way to Machu Picchu. Plenty of hotels for every taste and budget. You could try to buy 1000 tickets to Machu Pichu from local Ministry of Culture. Every day they are selling 1000 extra tickets for next day. Whenever you arriving it's always good to check as Ministry is open until 22.00. Also you need to be in the cue 6.00 or earlier when you want to be sure for tickets.

Ollantaytambo is a gem of a town, my favorite so far of the Sacred Valley towns I have stayed in. The historic part of town feels like it must have felt with the Incas were living there in precolonial days. The streets are kept immaculately clean. Everything you might need is within short walking distance but does not intrude on the authenticity of the town. The views of the Inca ruins on all sides take you back in time. I would gladly go back for a longer stay. The constant flow of large tourist vans down the main street can be a bit annoying as they don't seem to belong, but you can avoid this. One great thing about Kamma Guest House is that it is not in the main stream.
