Absolutely loved the two pools - one a bit more quiet, the other with music - and the friendly staff. Good food and drinks and a lovely manager checking with guests personally if they're happy with their stay. Huacachina isn't big so it's calm yet central, less than a minute from the oasis. As everywhere in Peru, you can hear some noise in the evening, but the rooms are clean and spacious and it's perfect for a weekend getaway.

Exceptional hotel with outstanding service, dining and staff. From the moment we arrived until our departure the whole experience was wonderful. The room was gorgeous, light, airy, with comfy bed, good size, and bathroom great. We borrowed bikes to ride around the estate, we enjoyed the wine tour and tasting, and dined at the restaurant for all meals. The food was 5* as were the staff. The pools were lovely, immaculately clean and the seating was high quality.

We absolutely loved our stay! The hotel was spotless, had a super comfy room with lovely bedding, and a nice common area with a great pool! The breakfast was beyond amazing, including a fruit shake, omelet, fruit cup and buns or croissant! We used Uber to get around, making it easy to visit sites. Walking distance from local grocery which had nice sandwiches and bakery. Amazing little dinner burger joint across the grocery. The hosts were lovely and we would absolutely recommend this hotel!

Serenity Lodge is well-named. It is a very relaxing haven, in complete contrast to the hustle and bustle of a night in Huacachina. We loved the quirkiness: interesting collections on show and animals: chickens, dogs and horses.

From the moment we entered the property, which is located in a very quiet neighborhood, we were greeted enthusiastically by Domenico and Jenny at the front desk. This hotel has to be, in all my years of travel, one of the best maintained, imaginative and immaculate properties. The owner has treated it as if it were her baby. All glass windows wiped clean, plants galore sitting on window sills, hanging from ceiling and in large pots around the pool. It feels like a private oasis. Rooms are well appointed, beds are comfy, extra blankets in drawers, not a smudge on our rooms walls, tile floors throughout the room and onto the outside hallways and lobby are so clean they sparkle. Did not want to leave so we dined at a table next to the pool, and service and ambiance was exceptional. Breakfast is included, and served to you either by pool or in lobby dining room.If you want to pamper yourself and relax and escape,…..this is the place!

This hotel has a large central green yard, a lake surrounding the accommodation, and another large green place with horses, ducks, and other animals. Above all, the three swimming pools are the best for relaxation. It's like a hotel in Cancun, Mexico. I took a walk around the hotel in the morning, and the various themed places were fantastic. I'm gonna choose this hotel again when I need to recharge my tired mind and body.

Perfect location next door to Mom's Cafe (the Peru Hop meeting point) and the Cruz del Sur bus terminal. The hotel courtyard is spacious, with a pool and large dining area. Enjoyed having a table and chairs outside my room. Breakfast was good. Loved all the fresh fruit. Reception staff were professional, pleasant, and helpful. Very comfortable stay.

gorgeous spacious and calm property at the end of the lake in the centre of huacachina. the rooms were huge and cool, the courtyard beautiful and the staff very friendly and attentive. we had to check out at 12 but didn’t leave huacachina until the evening and they let us use the pool and facilities all afternoon.

Excellent new hotel. Really well done up with everything shining like new. We enjoyed our evening meal there, and they were so kind as to prepare a packed breakfast for us as we had a very early departure the next day. Good secure parking for the car. Couldn't have been better.

I don’t know why so many bad comments, but it was a grate hotel in good location. Nice swimming pool area, rooms clean and comfy. Good Wi-Fi. Yes there was mosquitoes by the pool, but they provide a spray from them. Good parking inside hotel as well

We had an amazing time in the small yet the great City of...

We had an amazing time in the small yet the great City of Ica. We walked the beautiful Huacachina Oasis in a vast endless desert and we road 4-wheelers up and down the Huacachina Dunes, which is a definitely a must. They also have a beautiful winery as well as Dune Buggies which we did 2 years ago and get me talkingabout the sunsets. Nothing but the best and unforgettable experience.....Love this place!!

Nazca lines have always been a mystery to us and finally through this trip, by physically being there, we now can understand how the Nazca lines evolved and their purpose. We also enjoyed visiting and learning about the Palpa lines. It is a pity that the government did not invest more in upkeeping the city (there was so much trash just everywhere). It is also a pity that the only way people can see some of the most popular lines was through a flight (which some people just don't have the stomach for). I felt there could have been much more lookouts that can be officially set up, especially since this was a UNESCO designation. We also went to see the Cahuachi Pyramids nearby which we thought was really cool. Unfortunately, it did not seem to be well promoted and the museum was closed when we were there.

Be careful of food poising when eating out in the town me and my partner had received terrible food poising and after looking at google reviews most restaurants in the town had numerous poising reviews. The town must have really bad water which the restaurants are using. I liked the view of the lake from the sand dunes however I wouldn’t stay here overnight a day trip is all You need. There’s a bit of a sour energy here towards tourists, maybe they’re all sick of us lol very touristy town specifically for tourists.

The Nazca Lines were excellent!

The Nazca Lines were excellent! But Nazca isn't just about the Lines--there are other archaeological sites of which the Nazca people are very proud. The Pyramids at Cahuachi and Chauchilla Cemetery should not be missed, and the Aqueducts of Cantalloc are also very interesting.

Huacachina was an absolute highlight of our 2 weeks in Peru!

Huacachina was an absolute highlight of our 2 weeks in Peru! Wish we could have stayed a full day on the dunes instead of only 2 hours (this was July, and the temperatures were absolutely lovely). It's worth the trip!!

Nasca was a fascinating place full of interesting history.

Nasca was a fascinating place full of interesting history. The local guides on the tourist we took were very well informed and spoke good English. we took a half hour flight over the Nasca lines, which was a great way to view all the figures. We went to the Cantalloc aqueducts and wells, Paradones and Chahuacha ruins. We also visited the market which has a more variety of cheap fruits. All of these things we achieved in just one busy day, before taking the bus at 10 in the evening.
